Alex,

I personnaly am off the belief that the pendulum is important, BUT the video proof is flawed immensely. The impact of the ball and the force imparted by the pendulum happen at two completely different locations on the cart and are the fundamental difference to why it does not move as far. That and they are producing to different types of collisions. The dropped ball is an inelastice impact and the pendulum creating a force through its pivot is not.

I did not mean to shoot down your wheel so rudely as i do believe you have a great train of thought. I have achieved a 100 percent efficient spinner with just a pendula and a spring.( i babbled about it last year some time, it was worthless as it barely crested the top each turn and a twin mech at 180 just balanced the wheel) But i did it backwards to what you have done.

I would love to see the cart experiment setup so the collision was absorbed by the ball with some clay at the exact same location as the pen dula mounts to the cart, it would require a longer ramp for the ball but could easily be done.

Keep up the good work with the pendula.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts about the unfair experiment or did you still think it proved its point. Is "THE MAN" making any progress in his design? I do not follow at all what has been going on with the oscillator.

If you think you have an overunity device, think again, there is no such thing. You might just possibly have an unexpectedly efficient device. In which case you will be abducted by MIB and threatened by aliens.
