Jim in other words said, that he is the only person that understand hydraulics

But as one esteemed person said, education doesn't matter.
Here is one of the few things Alan discussed of his work.
Maybe he can show where discussing an idea of his I said something to him that was inappropiate.

http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topi ... #msg131327
Of course, an engineer would know that a positive type displacement pump would work better than a blower. This is because a blower requires a lot of energy to work before it would move any air.
With a positive type displacement pump, one that uses a piston, it would work at lower rpm's thus ensuring air is being moved.
The first problem with this idea is that it would take a lot of air. And a sinking float would not be able to develop enough energy to power something that could produce the amount necessary. This is because the air would also slow the sinking of the float beaue it is rising, creating resistence to the float trying to sink.

Alan,
It could be my experience in the Navy that allows me to understand this better. It is something that you do not consider.
As for people understanding hydraulics, if they haven't worked with it or learned about it in sschool, then not sure they should be expected to know or understand it.
And it does have alot to do with Bessler's wheel.
Ralph and Jim Mich bounced around a quote by Einstein, It is only when there is numerical equality between the inertial and gravitational mass that the acceleration is independent of the nature of the body.
The reason acceleration would be independent of the nature of the body is that the water would not be rotating wiht the wheel.
So basically when you have W=M*D, you would have work being created withthe cause of acceleration basically staying in the same place.
edited to add;

You know Alan, in reality ist is you who has harassed me the last 2 years. This is why you are so agressive with me. I am a threat to you because I understand what you do not. And if you keep pointing your finger at me, you believe know sees what you're doing. Quite a few people in ou said they didn't like the way you posted. Itdisrupted the forum.
You see Alan, if you actually took the timeto learn or build omething, you wouldn't be bothered by me.

Hi Jim,

there is no cheating physics as Gravity is a legitimate input! but if you put it into a gravity wheel it become energy from nothing! yet the energy laws state that you cannot destroy energy! so what has the energy laws just done! what does this tell you when people throw the energy laws at you?

Regards Trevor

Once in a while Jim/P-motion/not_me ect will be civil in a string. But go with this one forum OU string and he is up to his same o crap.

I quit talking to him on OU so he came over here. Who is following who?
I kept an eye on him to combat his constant lies about me, and got tired of doing that and most people on OU knows how Jim is and I could afford to ignore him until now. It seams like he is my own personal stalker. He even used names for forums of BAHammer because his obsession.

Hay Trevor

Jim stated a (positive type displacement pump would work better than a blower) he didn't consider that is takes more power to run one. The blower I planed on using is a hybrid from my experiences with compressors, vacuum motor fan systems and manual crank approaches. It will take time to build it but is not high on my priority list. I have much better designs to do.

Alan,
Will you quit flattering yourself ? You have nothing I want.
Besides, i can do math like this. Then you say things like, Jim, all you do is use math.
It really helps Alan. After I get a working wheel built, with the money I make from it, I will get you a math tutor , hopefully.
1 Kg equals approximately 1 liter of water
2 meter diameter equals 6.284 meter circumference.
6.284 divided by 8 equals .7855 meters or 78.55 cm’s.
In an 8 weighted wheel, each section has a length of 78.55 cm’s and a width of 5 cm’s
(Bessler’s wheel I have heard was 10 cm’s wide)
If the bottom of each section is pushed against the outer wheel first, then
PiR^2 times 7.5 times 78.55 divided by 2 equals volume.
3.14 cm’s times 5 times 78.55 divided by 2 = 616 cubic cm’s or .616 liters or about .62 Kg’’s
How much weight was it said that Bessler used ? This would have to do with how much travel the scissored weight and lever would need.
Someone has posted a 16:1 ratio is needed to pump water at atmospheric pressure. This is not supported by Newton’s Theory of Gravity which states it would take 1 Kg of weight to displace 1 Kg of water. In a different application, that may be correct.
It is true that flow rate would require more force.
With a 4:1 ratio, a weight of .25 Kg’s should be able to pump the water quite nicely. This would give the pumping lever almost 1 Kg of force. And this is notConsidering weights working together.
As such, with 8 times .25 equaling 2 Kg’s, the water would have a weight ratio to the solid weights
Of almost 3:1. One important question is, how light can the wheel be made ?
Then a force to mass ratio could be established.
And yes, I know more force would probably be needed, but a guideline helps to establish operating parameters that need to be met.
Other wise we might think an unproven hybrid pump would work better tahn a positive type displacement pump.
Claims are claims until they are proven. Then they become fact.
Fortunatley, math and engineeringwhen used in accepted hfashion as using levers to transfer force is readily accepted.
That's why some peole go to school :-)
I went to Technical school for Propulsion Engineering and studied math on my own.
edited to add; have been in pain today. more concerned about establishing reltionships and guidelines that can be tested.

See you at the finish line. LOL Just remember calculations are only as good as your parameters. So don't leave any thing out or your calculations will be incomplete or wrong all together. I'm voting more to incomplete. Because you always seem to be missing something.

Alan,
I'm not like you. What was it you posted in Museum of Hoaxes ?
Oh yeah, I remember now, you need an invention so you can retire.
I guess if you're looking for the easy way, you can still someone's idea and claim all the credit, most likely.
After all, if I were you, i wuld patent that hybrid pump of yours, That's what would get you your retirement.
But my doing a Bessler build is more about recreating a piece of history.
I have a different goal than you. I'm not in a race.
It's like Helmut said, a Bessler wheel needs to look like a Bessler wheel. And he is right about that.
You should accept reality Alan. You are probably a pretty good armorer and make a decent living from it. hy not be a little thankful ?
Like you say, you also have your family. I only wonder why you're not happy.

ovyus,
It really doesn't matter what I do. This is why I believe Alan is a bigot.
He has pointed out to me before that he is an American man married to an American woman.
But then, i haven't seen Alan stalk someone else. And of course, he lknows my father is an immigrant. He usually says I am anti-American among other things.
If I try discussing things with people, he always takes over the thread like this one about what he's going to do.
And that I probably have been able to figure out Bessler's wheel doesn't matter because Alan has to be better, he's an American man.

Jim made this statement on another forum. You read it and it shows his true intent. You can also read the string where I confronted him about this statement made on Alex's forum he started and closed it down due to Jim/P-Motion post and I defending myself. He started it claiming the design that was on youtube the Scott Hall wheel with 3 sticks on a roller for the floor.

http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topic=4671.0
But Alan, if it is my design, it will be known.
Of course, I can always modify the post if I want. And I'm sure that if someone successfully built a model based on my research and I kept quiet, they would too.
This would be because I can edit my posts. And I could change the design I posted.
It's up to you and if your design is different than what I posted. If people think it is the same and you say it is different, you will lose.
Think about it and let me know.
I think this says it all

The only way this will end is if I give up my secrets, because even if I don't defend myself he will still keep slandering me, for he is an obsessed stalker. IMO

ovyyus

Sorry but no matter what I say he will twist the word around and attack again. If I don't say nothing he will still slander as shown earlier in the string. That is the reason I think he is insane. Who knows, Insanity may be the trick.

As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it.
This works well for over-unity.com which has advertising between each post. I am sure the moderator would like to see this back on the 6+ pages where it started. The commercial advertising revenue is surely being missed.
People who say they are perfect have already proven themselves wrong.

Never concern defending yourself against slanderous accusations when those worthy of influence have the intelligence to consider the source.

rlortie,
that's why I didn't bother defending myself qwhen AB Hammer accused me of wanting to steal his idea's.
Everybody knows I've been working on Bessler's which can't be patented.

Ralph,
Why are you thanking me ?
I started this thread to discuss a build I will be doing.
This is something you and your wife, er, I mean Alan do not do.
And yet the discussion is how I am not nice to Alan or how the 2 of you dislike me.
After all, Alan says math and schooling mean nothing. Yet you are his private build partner.
Is that a special condition for me ? If so, it does sound bigoted.
And in yours and his ignorance, the 2 of you have forgotten something, what if by working from clues Bessler left, starting with his wheel and the pendulum, actually, it would be his 2 drawings that are one drawing but I didn't start there works ?
I mean really, all it would show is Bessler left clues for someone to follow. But as you and Alan have said many times, i am a fool for following them.
This leaves one question, do either of you believe he built a wheel and do you know anyone who built a perpetual wheel at all ?
