Ralph, there are other forum members with more than one account. I guess there can be legitimate reasons. Jim is not trying to misrepresent himself or hide his identity. I guess that's something. Although, history does have a way of repeating.

I think you and Alan should avoid talking with Jim, and visa-versa. Or get a room :D

greetings ovyyus

What would you do?

When you are out there to help people with designs and possible builds, and someone is telling that you said this or that, that was against anything you ever said. Then if you try to correct the statement. Then you would be accused of attacking them?

There are some minor points being missed here.
Someone else posted an idea that they were working on. That's okay, they are working on something.
But for someone to post an idea and say I thought of this before you posted an improved design to me, then why didn't they improve on the design ?
I improved it to where it can work without seals and could be produced cheap enough. After all, if it's to expensive to make, it can't sell and make money. As to my improvement, it is documented by the file date of the image.
And considering i can show where I did try to help Alan with his design, there is no reason he should have a problem with me.
The repeating history could be because I work openly and often build what I post,
this leaves private builders with little to discuss. Could be jealousy is just ugly.
And it could be that when i mentioned that Jim_Mich and Ralph were both saying the same thing in discussing a quote by Einstein and both were wrong could have oissed them off.
But Einstein did say that something had to be independent of the wheel. This simply means as far as the wheel goes, it calculates to having no value. You know, produces no work, no inertia and no centrifugal force.
They were arguing which force it had when Einstein said it had to have none.
You are right though, they probably shouldn't talk to me. I do understand this better and it does bother them.

Hi Jim and Alan,

if you have been working on the same design and it is worth some thing, put your differences aside and work together and share the fruits!

if the design is not worth anything then what the F*** are you arguing over!

Then it all come down to ego! Drop it and look what we are here for!

Please stop please, Regards Trevor

Jim, you understand what better? As far as I can tell you have nothing that works. Same as everyone else, apparently. I think you should probably stop talking yourself up and concentrate on getting something that works before we all die of old age and boredom (or cancer in your case). Talk is cheap, life is short.

Jim/not_me is a troll egging people on to post replies to his lies.

Get him out of here.

PS. As proof to his lies, I never discussed Einstein with Ralph. Ralph brought up the subject of Einstein and I never replied. And his claim to what bothers me about Jim/not_me is certainly NOT his (lack of) understanding things better.

I haven't seen Ralph or Alan build anything.
In fact, I was going to build something different to help with considering how I want to build this and Alan told me not to build anymore because his grid proved what I was going to do would not work.
As it is, cancer costs a lot of money to get. I missed about 6 1/2 months of work in 10 1/2 month period. Today I was asked if I wanted to leave early and miss 9 hours of work and said yes. My first week back from surgery I missed enough work to be terminated. My employer told me they wanted to see me leave for a different reason than that.
I had surgery in mid-January and am still having problems that are expected. not sure if they're supposed to last this long as there was an unexpected complication.
Also consider I have no place to build. I am using a storage unit which requires me to think how I can make parts at home without making a mess and not so much noise as to bother my neighbor.
As to Jim_Mich's comments, okay, i made a mistake with Einstein's quote. But in considering that, he and Ralph can still be considered wrong.
And yet neither asked why. Just an attack by Jim_Mich.
As for Alan, why are his claims of my wanting to steal his idea's acceptable ? I openly posted a suggestion to him. And the link to that thread was posted.
If he could improve the engineering which I will demonstrate he can't, the pic shows a simpler way of doing it. and according to Einstein will not work anyway. I think I will agree with Einstein. Still, in discussing engineering, it is helpful to understand how dynamics works in something like this. A working perpetual wheel would have some of the same attributes.
Alan also tried getting me banned from overunity.com but Stefan didn't go for it. It could be I told Stefan i was working on Bessler's wheel and English is my second language and had been ridiculed in this forum for my spelling in English. A sign of bigotry.
So ovyyus, considering what I have been through and am still going through, I am doing the best I can. Because of missing work last year, there is money I can get, but it has been delayed until September. And that is what I was planning on building with. You know, a place to work, money for even a router, etc.
But if I am banned from this forum, I won't consider it my loss. Stefan does want me to make a simulation so I can show it to him. I told him I will see about making a model. After all, he is being nice about it.
Of course, I take it with a name like Hartiberlin (Heart of Berlin) that he is German, lives in Berlin and is interested in possibly seeing a part of his country's history discovered.
But it is as I posted because of Alan calling me anti_American even though I am a disabled vet that with a father from Europe, should I hold one better than the other ? You know, America's best. Me ? Wouldn't care to offend my family that lives in Norway and most likely other parts of Norway.
And with this ppic, 2 weighted levers drop, one uses vacuum while the other pumps. The bladder can be connected to the levers so the center of them become like pistons in a bellows.
The reason why most likely it would not work is the flow rate need to shift the water. That taken to the mass in the tube which would allow for the flow rate would become like a dog chasing it's tail.
So yes, i do believe Einstein is right and give the guy gravity who found the quote many bonus points for it.
Of course, do think Bessler's wheel is to complex for most to understand.
And that is most likely why the topic changed. But in engineering, being able to improve a design does demonstrate that the engineering of it is understood.Image

Well Gentlemen,

For a small charge I can offer PMN (Perpetual Motion Neurosis) counselling.

This place is getting more and more a like a marriage turned sour. Let us squabble not, send me thy ideas and designs that I may judge their worthiness.

Scott: can we have a special topic devoted to "griping/bitching/hate mail" etc ? To which any personal animosity immediately get's moved ?

In overunity, some members believed Alan was using his stepson's Michael's account.
They cited the same spelling errors as one example to support their belief.
Of course, Alan told me he had his son trying to explain to me why I should do what Alan wants or something like that.
Could only consider that Alan has not been exposed to how idea's are developed and tested by building.
I haven't really seen that in any forum. But that is what has lead to the idea I will be building next. Discus an idea and what is either liked or disliked about it and the n build it. Even if it does not work, modify the design and build again. This way a comparison can be made of which then the engineering can be better considered.
Not a verry popular way to go. It doesn't allow for instant answers.

Nick,
I'll just quit posting in here. But then Alan will have no need to invade my threads at oveunity.
It is as one person at OU mentioned, it will take an asshole to build Bessler's wheel because of the critcism they will recieve.

edited to add; Nick, it is some trick engineering and fits within the requirements of Einstein's quote.
Of course, I was able to figure these things out by working at them and not arguing with people. It makes for a more enjoyable and productive day :-)

Sure, aggro and anger, wherever it's coming from, whether it's justified or not, whether it's provocation or misunderstanding, the result is the same, it will ruin your life. And during that time you don't get the work done.

If by engineering trick you mean that "PM" is possible without "OU", couldn't agree more.

And with that, best to everybody, and let's get back to the PM stuff.

That'll be 50 bucks each. There is no such thing as "free" advice :=)

Not-me - I appreciated the graphic you posted above. Stick to the technical details and forget the bitching. It doesn't suit you.

It is very hard not to defend ones self from the massive amount of Bull$#!+ and lies being told here. The funniest thing is, we use to have some good conversation on OU Like this one

This string we have a very civil conversation and examples from both of us. fairly constructive.

I have more, for I am documenting from time to time all the proof a judge will need.
