I'm suggesting you don't know who penned the illustration. Did Bessler commission it for his booklet, or did he actually produce it by his own hand?

So can we rely on the drawings here or no? If not I guess the "Bessler Wheel" might as well remain a nameless mystery forever no? How would we ever know that we re-created his wheel? That we succeeded? What is the point of this site etc. if the drawings that adorn it are fake?

Why do you think the drawings must be fake if they were not produced by Bessler's own hand? They are publicity material, produced in order to help him promote his wheel in order to secure a sale.

Never mind....I just simulated the pendulum on wm2d and it moves very fast but I think the wood could handle the strain.

Satan's Pawn or Satan Spawn? Whatever - I think we have all wondered at some time if the secret of the prime mover was external - whether in the pedula or the stamper boxes ... there are tonnes of threads dedicated to these ideas.

It seems pretty clear that the prime mover was inside the wheel itself - witnesses and Bessler himself say as much. Bessler used various external machines to prove the value of his invention - they were peripheral.

Even if the answer was in the external pendula - you haven't stated how you think they could provide an excess of energy. Assuming they could - there is no reason why the same principle couldn't be used inside the wheel.

Saying ...hey it was that pendelum doesnt help a bit. Dont try to look hurt of other members comments when you did name your thread such optimistic and there is nothing inside. Its more like useless spam for me ..
