Perhaps Johnny C. has info on this one. Did Johann have a brother or someone he considered a brother? Any other info on his family and close friends? Thanks, John

Yes he had a brother, Gottfried who was seven years younger than Bessler and it is also on record that there was another one whose name I do not know. In fact in addition to the two surviving brothers he had another three who all died in infancy. He married and had three daughters and later after her death he remarried and had two more daughters. All daughters married. There were grandchildren too.

He had a vicious mother-in-law and two vile sister-in-laws and their two husbands were all pretty evil too. So your choice of the word "friends" while understandable might not be the choicest word to use for some of these characters!

There is a lot more but I don't want to give too much away from my new book.
