I've spoken with Tom Wlazlak, he admits that he's never built a working demonstration (and doesn't really plan to) but feels sure his idea will work OK. That sounds so familiar, doesn't it.

Isn't it strange how the article appears to describe something working whereas the inventor himself says otherwise. Another unfortunate example of poor and/or misleading reporting.

I am sure it would be in his best interest to build a prototype to make sure this will work, just presuming that it will work will not do. I can't make out the picture really well. It looks like a small block of wood with three bolts running through it., then it looks like it's on a wooded block that slides the other piece of wood with three bolts up and down the length of the block of wood.
