Initial thoughts off the cuff (i would need longer to find the chapters and verses, so these are just paraphrased ideas based on my religious mispent youth ...)

Don't you think he might have been born for it? God "gives young men visions, and old men dreams" - this was what Bessler had to do. Actually, Newton was a bit of a God botherer himself (I think in a creepy way?). But if you read the history of the pioneers of "Energy" - they were a bunch of godless characters, some who took their own life.
Personally - I believe that the very axioms of our "science falsely so called" contains errors that have perverted the course of History. Bessler was the fly in the ointment, that demonstrated to thinking men even to today that MAYBE things are not as they seem ... God doesn't let his people be fooled - He exposes error and injustice, in His own time and in His own way ...

Some may believe in conspiracy theories - but you also have to consider that the Holy Spirit doesn't want this to happen just yet. Everything in life is a spiritual battle first and foremost. Earthly affairs simply reflect what is taking place in Spirit. Just as our earthly Body follows along after our Spirit (generally).

Think about it: here is the greatest intelligence in the Universe - He knows the location of every particle in the universe at any point in time ... He can't be fooled, ever. He must look down on the "wise" and arrogant people as being very dumb children who are out of line. Like a good parent, He just lets them make an arse of themselves so they can find a little humility perhaps ...
God knows the consequences of everything He allows. Good inventions get used for war, more often than not.
If you think you can handle it, He may allow you to enjoy a free energy invention. There is a religious bunch who have an electrical free energy device - the name escapes me but starts with M. They are fairly low key, and seem to have played this well.

It would take me 60 seconds to give you the prime mover...Interested? Will cost you nothing!! give me your word you will keep it to yourself and it's yours. The wheel design is not that important to me. It's the add-on devises that increase the power to something that can actually do heavy work and be worth money!! Each one of the prime mover configurations is Heavy from 12:00 to 6:00 and empty (neutral) from 6:00 to 12:00. One primary mover will do 360 deg with no help from others and do work!!It really is simple! Here is a response that are just some of my views on your questions.
1 ,2 Bessler tried for ten years to build a gravity engine without success. He crys his eyes out to God and God answers his prayer and he gives the credit to God for showing him the solution. His five page statement of faith in Poetica Apologie shows him to be a man of strong christian beliefs and character. His goal was to build a christian college that taught trades as well as biblical truths together upon sale of his invention.
3. No one tried as Bessler did to find this great treasure.
4. We are fast approaching, only a few more years I believe,before the reign of Our Lord And Saviour on this planet for a thousand years . Bessler's wheel will be providing a lot of the power for this period.
5. Who would God choose next to give this gift ( or curse) to ?(aptly phrased)
God would most likely choose a man like very similar to Johann Bessler.
A man after God's own heart as David was. Knowledgable in many trades as Bessler himself was , full of wisdom and discernment as well.and God would also have to give the key pieces of knowledge as they belongs to Him alone.There is probably 4 billion combinations of what you can place inside a wheel . Better chance buying a lottery ticket.

Yes - I pretty much believe all that I said there. It was written in haste, and the attempts at humour were a bit lame.
The God factor in the Bessler story is very interesting, and i'm sure there is a spiritual battle surrounding the whole saga.

In general....1) Curiosity is the Thirst of the Soul. 2)You have choice. 3)"You get what you concentrate on, there is no other rule". With all due respect, when I start asking questions I pause and ask myself, "What kind of belief prisms am I looking through?" "Am I seeing the Universe clearly or through contemporary cultural drama ideas?" So it's back to 1,2 and 3, wonderful gifts indeed. And 4) It is a good idea to be operating with some Kind of Higher purpose in mind. No two people have the same vision on this, but you can feel it in the heart. So what can be done with Consciousnes, Love, Creativity and the Infinite? Beyond Interesting and Thank You is an understatement. John
