First connect yourself to Internet, and download the bootable CD ISO image, per example here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraLiveCD
Then burn the ISO image, using any burning package (like NERO)
Switch off your computer and its W#&@èç#%...
Insert the burned bootable live CD and switch on your computer.
Don't touch anything until you get the desktop, just click on the Firefox icon.
Everything will be perfect your hard disk being totally ignored, you are working in RAM internal memory.
Download some file, if needed, on your USB key.
And in addition, at least but not the last: without any virus.
After your Internet session is finished, switch off again your computer and remove the liveCD.
Switch on your computer and return back to its W#&@èç#%...
