With me there is always one more thing as i am pretty much absolutely focused on this pursuit.Idea:the cat is free and cannot lift the dog,the cat eats mice(borrows weight),the dog chases the cat and the cat with it's excess weight pulls the dog over. and the cat ,dog and mice become one.Just an interpretation of the AP poem that i though some time ago.
B.T.W. I looked up the definition of E-troll myself and i do not fit that description since i am seriously not trying to distract from the subject matter. The reason i post so much is simple:i have an overactive imagination and nothing else to do.

..as I understand, christo4...a troll..is some one who lingers around..offers nothing of substance..and takes all that greed would allow him / her..

and yes...lets get on with the business at hand.

Trolling is trying to get a rise out of someone. Forcing them to respond to you, either through wise-crackery, posting incorrect information, asking blatantly stupid questions, or other foolishness. However, trolling statements are never true or are ever meant to be construed as such.
Trolling is the art of deliberately, cleverly, and secretly pissing people off, usually via the internet, using dialogue.
The most essential part of trolling is convincing the victim that you truly believe in what you are saying, no matter how outrageous,
Trolling requires deceiving; any trolling that doesn't involve deceiving someone isn't trolling at all; it's just stupid. As such, your victim must not know that you are trolling; if he does, you are an unsuccessful troll.
Trolling is being an annoying asshole, sometimes intentional.
A troll is someone who constantly seeks attention as described above.

Not found in dictionaries. Pedestalization is the act of putting someone, usually a woman, on a pedestal.
As far as I'm concerned, I'll wait and see how you act.christo4_99 wrote:So everyone please forgive me

Pathfinder...does it really make a difference that the gears have been moved?Couldn't the differential just as easily be built into the shaft itself with the two gears on the same side and the "tail" functioning as a stabilizing device or something that "whips" over the top of the structure from some spring load?Does the weighted wheel spinning "know" whether it is going clockwise or counter clockwise? To me the differential aspect can be reasoned away.Correct me if I'm wrong.
Not to disregard what you posted Jim.Please understand I am a man who cannot keep a secret...whether valuable or not seems to be a matter of putting it on the table and waiting or being of the oracle type.As far as our conversations have gone it certainly seems like it's my turn to do what is right at this peaceful time and extend you an apology.I will admit that i thought the reception of my "crystal ball" would be unanimous.
I still maintain that although the dog portion of the drawing can be disregarded more easily, the cat portion, for those who can see it, was an intentional creation by an artist namely Bessler.I am an accomplished artist in that i can record highly accurate recognizable images onto paper.if it is true what they say that it "takes one to know one" then maybe it is what Bessler intended. There has been for some time in art a sense that the artist should be able to create illusions within his work,in fact, that is the very measure of and artist in some circles.

Dear christo4_99,
If the linker (the shaft plus the two attached gears) is short and located at the border of the two rotating primemovers, there is first a mechanical problem for their fixation.
Then the constraint is located on on side only, which is not the best mechanical stable construction.
But the most important is the role of the main axle: if you don't pass through, you will get no torque at all.
Here is one of the leverage effect.
Another good and greatest reason is regarding the counter rotation: if the two gears are soldered on the same shaft, they rotate together, and located on the same side of the primemovers, they cannot be in opposite rotation.
Hoping to be clear enough.
A good analogy of the above principle can be this:
You are driver of a rear-wheel-driven car (including an gear train between the two rear wheels) a day of hard winter.
Unfortunately you stop somewhere and your left rear wheel is located over an ice sheet, instead the right rear wheel is on the dry earth.
When you will try to restart, no way to move: all the engine energy will be transferred to the left rear wheel, wich will rotate at a fantastic speed.
In this example one of the primemover is locked (rear right wheel), the second primemover has an overspeed (rear left wheel), and the satellite inside the gear train is rotating fast. There is no axle exiting from this satellite, but suppose it exists, you can let turn a fan with the purpose to melt the ice.
With our matter, the key is to find a mechanical linkage (satellite assembly) where the rotation speed of the main axle (passed through by the satellite shaft) is the difference between two counter-rotating primemovers (each one on an ice sheet).

I cannot imagine why nobody though on this before, including myself? It is so simple!...

There are no mechanical components in the phrase 'Pulling back the curtain' it means to reveal something, pull back the canvas to reveal the mechanisms and how they work.Richard wrote:...what would have been the mechanical components of..."Pulling back the curtain"?

Nick,
My daddy taught me that it was not proper to hit a woman. You put them on a pedestal so that when you push them they have farther to fall!
A lesson for all self-egotists to think about!

when i first saw the image...the only anecdote i could tie it to was the idea of small weights at the perimeter affecting the rotation...my gut reaction was that a small weight on a shaft at the edge of the wheel due to it's position and leverage could spin up a heavier weight positioned at the center of the wheel(leverage advantaged position) and use it's massive gyroscopic rotational momentum to drive the wheel.

...thanx much Ralph
...Jim_mich...please feel free to point out to me any time I reach the
"Asshole" stage..I don't think I'd bear up to well if allowed full troll status..

Richard, you would need to work really really hard to reach that stage. Most of the members here are really great people. But once in a while we get a troll who acts like an asshole, who lies, who pumps himself up like he's better than the rest of us, and who is just plain obnoxious in his attitude. Most members here would never even think of acting like a troll.
Just my opinions.

i have something else in mind.I can really do without the judgment.I think my hand is already in the cookie jar.How many of you want me to profess it here if I do have a working principle? We all have who we think is important in this pursuit. It just so happens that my admiration lies with Bessler.Ealadha wrote:I would not be worried at all about christo4 discovering the secret as there is no chance of that happening , IMO .
Words exist because of their meaning. Once you've got the meaning, you can forget the words. Where can I find someone who has forgotten words so I can talk with him or her ?
