riddle

Please don't post the answer, just how long it took you to figure it out. Thanks.

riddle:

A father and son were traveling, by car, to a ball game. They got into a bad car accident. The father dies. They rush the son to the hospital for emergency surgery. The surgeon walks in and says " I can't operate on him, he's my son. How can this be?
. I can assure the reader that there is something special behind the stork's bills.

I also didn't get it until I googled it. Then I had to google Grimer's MCP, but to no avail. What is a MCP? I'm not so sure I want to know.

This kind of stuff have to see in English and other languages where substantives - in general - have no gender!
