IMHO---When the wheel is in motion, EVERY individual part is in a motion of its own. The weights do not sit in any one position for any amount of time.

Thanks for the reply, glad you agree. The entire system moves in sync. There is no one action then reaction, it is entirely dynamic, and inter dependent.

Maybe the statement was more to do with the blood pumping around every sinew. But, it has to be pumped by an efficient pump that requires energy from somewhere. Where does that extra energy come from?

any weight being lifted by the wheel on the side going up have a downward push on the wheel , if you use a lever to gain leverage ,you multiply the force , but if you lift the weight on the side going down , you will put all effort you use to lift the weight straight into the shaft/wheel , so you don't lose any energy lifting the weight .

Only the slightest amount of rotation/force will be required to reset the prime mover.
Overbalancing = greed, I was going to get into the details of my latest wheel (took about 20 hours) but instead I will just build a runner, and show you then.

Nmeba,this is the same as nothing ever reachs a point of rest and every thing retains the power of free motion ,from what i have learnt if you cause the weight to reach a point of rest then you can not generate enough energy to get over the negative torque weight,i personally believe the weights act in pairs as Bessler said ,the key i beleive is figuring out what lifting a lb with a 1'4 meant.good luck warrior.
