I see there is some writing on the front cover; anybody translate it yet?

So in the faceless picture, are the penned in scribbles at the bottom the same as the other copies?

It appears to start with 'ex libris' which means that it came from the library of....someone. I can't read the rest, but my copy also had the same words and came from the library of a famous opera singer.

Yes the penned scribbles are identical to all the others.

What's an opera singer doing with that?

Confusion with.....

La donna è mobile
qual piuma al vento,

.....perhaps.

Sorry Grimer, I thought everyone knew of the history of my copy of Das Tri. It was formerly owned by Emmy Destinn, see http://www.destinn.com/#/emmy-destinn/4524716512

She was not just the world's greatest opera singer in her time, but was multi-talented, she wrote plays, novels, short stories, librettos, and poetry; painted on canvas and porcelain; and translated and composed songs. She came from Prague and had an interestin history too, and collected Das Tri along the way. I have sold my copy to a member of the Royal Philhamonic orchestra who is a Bessler fan but also appreciates the link to opera.

I suppose this is one of the reasons musicians are interested in Bessler's Perpetual Motion.
