I can't for the life of me imagine how that thing in the table can lead to perpetual motion - but I'm ready to be persuaded so, like the Terminator, I shall be back.

Dear Grimer,
IMHO this device is perhaps able to give two different rotation speed for two wheels of the same size (this seems to come from the double path of the patented chain).
But now if you connect back this both gears to a second identical device, there is no chance for the whole assembly for increasing the common rotation speed until its destruction.
This is the story of the tandem bike with the second guy pedalling two times quicker...
I cannot imagine why nobody though on this before, including myself? It is so simple!...

It is rather novel...if I'm viewing and interpreting what I see..properly?

Apparently he has leveraged the lever..in his chain design...kind of like tail holting or snatchblocking without increasing the length of the pull..?

Path_Finder I can no longer post on your..."summary of latest..."

any time I try to post there...my entire computer shuts down...completely..

I can still read and view your thread however....Damn Jim_mich..he stole a great open on that one :-))

Of course it might be employing d³x/dt³ in some way.... Image

But I rather doubt it.

Notice how tight the chain is between the deflecting wheel and the "generator"(/motor)

I've seen this before. It's a fake video. The sound does not match the rolling of the ball. Close your eyes and listen. The same sound track is repeated a number of times. It is the sound track of when the wheel was initially pushed by hand at the start of the video. I assume that there is an air or electric motor turning the wheel. Either one would produce a distinctive noise. So the sound track was edited by repeating the earlier sound a few times during the later rotation when the wheel appears to self-rotate.

Also, at the 58 second mark, there is a little pssst noise, which is probably from the air that powers the wheel.
