Reflected gravity power...
...is an application of a general natural concept:the reflexivity of motion(read Marx).Let's say that I am a blind man, feeling and thinking as an elementary spare part,a piston of yours,so many combustion engines. At one side,I have a feeling of the wave motion,of "something" pumping(alternate low pressure-high pressure,a push-pull).I am bind to play,to and fro on a line.At the other side,I have a connecting rod,so to transmit this push-pull to a rotor, determining this one to turn continuously.I understand that I am an "in-between" ,only,in this transfer of motion, but dreaming up as you,to hand down the gravity power,I am surprised about your designs:where are the waves, the gravity tidal surge? Can you imagine an engine with no "high pressure"?Can you surf without beach combers, breakers?I am a blind piston-man only, take this as an opinion....All the Bests!/Alex

re: Reflected gravity power...
...ask for a different, out of the ordinary manner of reasoning?
Not at all.
We have the know-how about cumulating, collecting the power of the sunlight or the sea-side waves:the wave concept of the natural energy transmission.
So,why not try to "pack",load, amass gravity as the waves on a sea-cost?
Up and down of the visible water waves on the beach in a gravity frame, can be a suggestion for an up and down in a rotational frame,a push-pull game with this general property of the space:inertia.

.....I am thinking about,it's an allegory,a simple story that suggests a deeper, maybe useful subject.
The reflection can be an image reflected in a mirror...or the act of throwing back "something"(light,heat..energy....motion of a mass).
If we take out motion from gravity ,we can throw it to a "backing"/motion support...this is inertia, more exactly rotational inertia ('on the spot").
Inertia,as a temporary storage can help us to play motion (this time kinetic energy due a falling mass in gravity),as we like/can.

...in mechanical terms, perhaps the easier way to "reflect " ( vector )weights in motion, would be to simplify Besslers' clock wheel?
Parallel (disk) wheels with (arbitrary) 11.25 dgs. of constant vector to a forward (shared point). With nut cracker ( compound ) levers, such heel out toe in arrangements will squeeze forward and spread inward..a spider on the mirror..if you will.
Indeed, while squeezing two disk together, that are joined by compound levers, you may obtain 360 dgs. of (torque leverage) and this is not an exchange of length for distance.
...will try to get back tuesday

.....or the real "motion mirror" for a gravity fall, can be considered the transfer, the act of "throwing kinetic energy" from one place to another.
If we have a source of "free" motion, the main problem can be: how to collect it ?
If we have a free falling mass in gravity,a final collision with the ground is out of questin...no useful "gain".
If we connect the free falling mass with another mass "on the spot",free to rotate in a fixed fulcrum,we can accumulate gravity energy.
The common image : an inverted pendulum,with a heavy hub/axle ,free to fall/rotate up-down (180*).
The gravity free fall is "reflected" ( and accumulated...) into the rotational inertia.

...sounds like "Zero-sum" ? water in a U-tube?
...collision with the ground Is acceptable, neccessary and preferred..If the collision is transferred laterally and to rotation. this is the most pure of weight conversion is it not?

.....is a particular one:the passing from one medium (gravity ) into another(inertia).
It's something between reflection and refraction...
The old topic "Heavy hub pendulum..." can tell you more...

I liked the analogy of the pistons and connecting rod. I am working on just that principle using the difference in pressure of water at varying depth, see the 'spiteri' thread.
The obvious problem is resetting the machine after the first stroke, the buoyancy of the air is transferred to the top, and the energy used to overcome this is exactly equal to the energy produced.
I think I have overcome this by using only a small volume of air to transfer water in a sealed bellows, neutral buoyancy under water, leaving a good proportion of energy for useful work.
The machine is almost ready, self actuating stops and catches still to be made, and a framework to place it in a 1000 gallon tank. A test of just the double cylinder should be ready in a week or so which will show if there is surplus energy.
I will post the result, positive or negative, first on the Spiteri thread.

...in your statement
"..If we connect the free falling mass with another mass "on the spot",free to rotate in a fixed fulcrum,we can accumulate gravity energy. "
...I think, not on a fixed fulcrum....rather you would need to travel a tighter centric orbit around, allowing weight to pass through the area of conventional fulcrum(s)
....remove the axle and give the pendule its own tighter centric orbit.

Hi Richard !
A heavy hub pendulum can be a helpful concept (and maybe a "toy"...).
A common pendulum has:bob, rod and pivot.
Inside the pivot is a thin axle.
I imagined this thin axle as a heavy one (heavy hub or flywheel).
Why?
If we have an inverted (heavy hub) pendulum, falling up-down (180*),we can brake (slow ) this fall and collect the gravity fall,as an inertial (rotational "on the spot"of this heavy hub/axle) energy storage.
Newton said (regarding PM...) something about reflection and refraction...
At the surface of water,a part of light is reflected(air) ,a part is refracted (water).
Let's make an allegory...
It can be alike : the gravity fall of an inverted (heavy hub) pendulum ,moves (is "refracted") into another "medium" (inertia). We can get out for our use, some rotational inertia.
The real problem is this:your "device" must not only run( "self"running),but must provide "free" energy, even more.
This is why we need a storage...
A certain topic (A "missing" body...?!) deals with this subject.
For me,the main point is the know-how regarding the general topic of this forum, inside the actual theory.

.....in this movie , is dissipative : https://youtu.be/vGrCkdtFCDE
Our intention is to cumulate the kinetic energy , due to a gravity fall / unbalance of two masses in a continuous and repetitive manner and...to use it as a working capacity.
We need a simple variable/oscillatory leverage reflecting back the free fall of unbalance...again and again.
