I don't know... He gives you stills to look at, one of which is the axle...it looks like a plain old rod to me. Also, if you notice, he rotates the whole thing around and it even slides around, showing that it's not mounted. Where's the air coming from? Also, at 0:57, the pst sound you hear is just the wheel scraping against the side of the magnet. Look closely.

Note the web site at the end, www.veproject1.org, shows how they did it with the budweiser everflowing flask, presumablty they will show how this was done too.

Yes, in the second video they show the pump inside the box-like base, just as I suspected.
