That was a good example of using a force as a gravity substitute. Calling momentum in a flywheel synthetic gravity is quite a stretch. It's not too helpful.
It is to me. :-)
How much did you offer for the Dominant Flywheel?
I offered his price on the basis that he is likely to ask less than I'm prepared to pay.
Unfortunately I've been unable to contact him. If anyone can find out who he is I'd be happy to give them a £50 finders feel. :-)
Not that I'm that concerned now since I have discovered an explanation of how to get energy from train of 360° pendulums. For anyone sufficiently familiar with heat engines such as the Stirling who realises that energy is dependent on mod(temp.difference), the explanation is a revelation. It certainly was to me. :-)
In the case of the 360° pendulum motor the difference is of course difference in angular velocity, difference in the speed of the pendulum bobs as they speed up on one side and slow down on the other.
The bookie's favourite in other words. The 3rd derivative of position with respect to time, jerk. Since Cloud is the only member who has grasped the significance of jerk it's appropriate that the first announcement of this breakthrough is made on his thread.
So if you've got any oil shares, Waltzes, prepare to shed them now. Alternatively you could do what that Black Swan chap does and buy suitable options. :-)
What's the price of oil likely to go down to once knowledge of harnessing gravity is in the wild?
