Well, heaven forbid if all the rotors were rotated the opposite way. Why, they might just speed up the Earth, and we'd all be flung into space!
Well put Mr Tim.

I'm always irritated by the false idea people have that gravity mills will speed up or slow down the earth. On average they will do nothing to the earth since the speeding up and slowing down effects will cancel each other out.
