Do you think all Bessler's wheels used a same basic Principle?

All used same basic Principle.

I believe the same principle applies, but like any other design in the world, once understood, there are multiple approaches using the same principle! Copycats beating patent rights.....

I would like to add a simple thought as to why his latter designs were bi-direction. He was very inelligent, he was designing a ""practical device".
Raise a pallet of bricks, lock the wheel, off load the bricks. Unlock the wheel, give it a nudge the other way, and the pallet returns to the ground for more bricks. His latter designs may very well had enough power in the wheel to do this. In the 1700's I have no idea what they had for reversable gear boxes???? Bill

Basic principle should have been the same:
There are 95 percent chances that working Gravity engines should work on the principle that the Gravity engine/Gravity wheel systems are innovatively designed to take in (consume) much more Gravitational energy than what energy needed to lift heavy ball upward, which is supplied externally.

For example,in my engine I give less electrical input to machenical system but I convert much much much more gravitational energy into usable electrical energy.

Offcoarse this needs Innovative and detailing thinking power to design such a engine.

If you substract total Gravitational energy input from the energy needed to lift heavy balls up in a gravity wheel, you get some net gravitational energy which is the net energy input to the system(input after subtraction) which can be converted to electrical energy. This is the scientific basis for any real Gravity engine. And hence real Gravity engines can surely exist/can be made, but are not perpetual and do not violate Laws of energy conservation, simply because these gravity engines will use gravitational energy as net input, for a balanced Energy equation.

For example,my engine analogy has a balanced energy equation:

Energy supplied to lift Red ball through commutator controlled motor mode at pivot + gravitational energy required to push the resistance away + frictional losses + other entropy losses = supplied energy recovered though generator mode by commutator control at pivot(red coloured in sketch) + electricity converted from overcoming of resistance+ frictional losses + Back EMF losses + other entropy losses.
Science is the king, commerce and MBA are servants of mankind.True Gravity-magnetic powered engines are possible but they cannot be against 3 basic laws of thermodynamics and newton's laws of motion.
