Use a cam to push against the axle for the green, this lifts the lever, which drops onto the wheel, giving the force of rotation, use a lift ratio of 20 to one, the levers are not attached to the wheel, except when falling! The wheel is hollow!

So why is this not thought of as one pair takes the outward position, so the pair drives to the shaft, this is soon here and that there, and so it alternates on and on?
You would have thought if he meant weight he would have said so rather than thing.

There are two arms connected to weight B. The one on the right is connected to weight A. If its connection is moved down the A shaft toward center, the leverage is increased and the need for a heavier weight at the A position is reduced. The farther down the A and B shafts you move BOTH connections to the B weight, the more leverage you get and the smaller weight A needs to be.
You only need to lift B a little to put the wheel out of balance. ANY amount will do. And you want A as heavy as possible for when it falls and strikes the spring, driving the rotation of the wheel. Maybe it STILL won't work, but there are a lot of adjustments that can be made here.

A moves up and down pedaling the wheel, b is moved by a cam or cog. The other end of cable attaches to the frame, or a weight moving in the opposite direction. A pushes down with direct force on the outer rim, and follows the degree turns of the wheel, b is lifted by 360 degrees turn of the wheel at a much slower rate. F=ma. This means the force required to lift is less than the direct downward of the weight on the outer rim.

Here is a brief crappy video of what I am working on. The device I am working with is called a "Four Bar Stainless steel Stay Rod" You would need 16 of these, or 8 pairs.

The size of weights would be opposite of what I show in my drawing. You would use a SMALL falling weight to drive the wheel and lift the larger weight out of position. There are TONS of adjustments that could be made on this so that it would function better, but we all have to start somewhere. I have two of these devices up against a flat wheel, and I need a second four foot wheel so that MANY devices can be set up within the hollow space. I will post some video once I get the second wheel mounted in place, and the two devices set up. I FOUND the ones I have because I was looking for something like that, but haven't found a GOOD place to source 16 of them yet (so they will ALL be the same). I may have to make my own
