To Jonathan: FWIW, I have never posted as anyone that I already know to have used this board. As strange as it might sound coming from me, I would not stoop to the level of those who post under other's names. I have enough creativity to come up with my own various user names to get my points across without need of overstating my points at the expense of others like someone else we know. I feel certain that those truly interested in my statements will know me by those statements and the messages they contain. Some are already learning to set aside their personal aversions and "leverage" what they have seen to their potential personal increase. But who really knows for sure.....(or so one might hope).

Hello YKW;
Who branded you a coward?, certainly not me... As far being a worthy 'proponent'. I guess so, I keep hoping that you are just an average guy. Wasn't it so ironic that someone sized you up as needing a 'healing' at first crack?..scary. I was going to post the aerial photo like you asked but guests cannot post images. You can see the 285 and Dunwoody parkway at the edge of it but besides that it is just a bunch of trees and houses. Also it is nice to know you do not stoop and that others benefit from your statements(??); thats a good thing. I guess I'll just sit on the 'mug'shot for now.., like you said, no reason to cause insults..lol.. ;) Well, how about giving us one your rants, a really long one this time...I need a good laugh since I'm feeling blue today.
thanks buddy// c ya

Perhaps you took the blue pill, hence your blueness. Something tells me you don't need a lengthy rant from outside your own head to keep you occupied.

Hi hypoxylonYS;
So quiet now....isn't it better when it's civil and peaceful. I think that is one of the benefits of revealing a persons true identity. It is easy to flip the bird at another driver anonomously or to rant and rave from the shadows etc. But when dealing face to face I think we tend to be more polite and kind to one another, would u agree? I will be leaving the board for a while, much to your relief, I'm sure! But I will try and drop in once in a while. c ya

I agree with your statements, generally speaking. The hypoxylon reference seems a bit odd unless you were making an oblique reference to vereneum, which is a unique word bearing absolutely no meaning to the oft misspelled "venereum" which is a disease. Cursory web searches and misspellings often beget one another.

One more idea on spaceships and energy. Some years ago I think mariner and voyager spaceships are sent to the jupiter. To get a higher speed to leave our planet system, they use the swing-by technic.
This technic is reallity !! Get higher speed with Gravity force. Not in a second, over hours, this speed was increasing.
Best regards

Yes Georg, I posted about that not long ago. In that thread, we determined that the approach of the spacecraft produced a gravitationally caused drag on the body and an increase of speed of the craft. So the craft used the kinetic energy of the body to launch itself into outer space. If I'm not mistaken, the Pionnier and Voyager probes used at least two planets and the sun, and are now outside the solar system.
In the case of the space craft, gravity acts as a carrier for the kinetic energy, so it can do things it usually doesn't. A body usually has to have direct contact with another and the one losing energy has to be moving toward the one gaining it. But in this case, it's not too important which ways they are going and it is preferable that they don't collide.

It is easy to strain at gnats while swallowing camels when reaching for new understanding. When discussing physically attatched orbital bodies as applies to a gravity wheel, the planetary "slingshot effect" and it's resultant momentum loss on the planetary body supplying the motive force is not truly analogous. We know, for instance, that if the planet supplying the gravitational energy were held motionless in place from a frame of reference outside of our own, the effect would still be prevalent (and be more or less efficient than the orbital vector of the planet in your first scenario). The point being: Since it can be understood that the "slingshot" effect would occur even if the planet supplying the motive force was held completely stationary in reference to the approaching craft, the fact that the larger body loses momentum (albeit in infinitesimally small amounts) is of no account analogically. In fact, if the approaching smaller body interacted with the larger body at the correct time and direction, both bodies would GAIN momentum.

symple psyman, I was not able to follow your post. If we pick either the planet or the spacecraft as our reference frame and define the other body to be stationary, then they will both immediatly begin accelerating toward each other (though the body wouldn't move much) and then they'd collide. Technically they both gained momentum, but in the end it wasn't usable and wasn't repeatable, so it would be a one shot free energy system. And it is only free because the spacecraft originated on earth and we did not have to pay for the potential energy it had because we did not put it that far away from the body in the first place. We made it out of stuff that is here. Then again we did pay slightly in that we lost a small fraction of our planet in the process.

Thank you, you too. But it is probably not your fault that I can't follow the post, things have to be very detailed and explicit for me to understand without me wanting to ask many questions. I meant two things by saying that I couldn't understand your post: first I didn't understand what gnats and camels had to do with anything, and second is that the conclusions you made just didn't make sense to me, I didn't see how you got them, and I don't know if this is because I'm stupid or if your statements actually didn't make sense. (There's a lot of nuts in this field, someimes it's hard to tell who's who.)
So by your lack of counter agument, do you agree, or do you disagree but don't want to discuss it? If you disagree, I want to discuss it, because sometimes I'm very confused or even say things that are obviously wrong, and I'd like to be corrected if need be.

Georg, what are you talking about? Of course we can repeat this process, we can do anything as many times as we'd like, but I just proved that there'd be no more energy out after the first time and that is if there is any that first time.

Jon boy, quit dogging Georg, you have "proved" nothing at all at this point except that you are increasingly bipolar. You don't understand Georg, so what. We get it already. Move on and zip it about "not getting it". your Georg fixation/obsession/frustration is threatening to co-opt this forum. Why not ask Georg for his email address and fill his inbox with your whiny and contentious rants and save scott the space?

I do not badger Georg more than I badger anyone else here. Ask jim_mich, I've near drove him nuts because I don't think it is right for him to have an idea, tells us about it and say that he thinks it is very promising, and then drop off the face of the Earth with it. That type of individualistic behavior is not the most productive, it is far better to comepletely and explicitly describe the idea and throw it out for all to chew on, 50 minds are better than one.
However, you are right, I didn't choose my words wisely, I have not proved anything as per the second part of my post, two previous.
To continually switch polarity is a good thing if there is a continual flow of information. Each time you get new info, you should reevaluate what you think to see if it fits with this info and what it means if it does or doesn't.
My posts to anyone saying that I don't understand and want clarification are not threatening anything, they are increasing the accuracy and amount of information we all have available, and that can only lead to good things. If my repeated use of the phrase 'I don't understand...' annoys or bores you, you don't have to read my posts.
As to whether my posts are whiny and contentious, that is a matter of opinion that I can't argue, think what you want. But my posts to Georg specifically are not rants, notice that your post complaining about my post was longer than mine. I only write rants when I have to defend myself from the never-ending torrent that is the peanut gallery's accusations, misconceptions, and wholly unfounded attacks. I notice that you can't stand to read any of my posts, but you obviously do. I notice that you don't register, that way you can be and say whatever you want, there is no way anyone can fight against you that way.
Have you read the recent posts and threads by Scott about why he has created the memeber forum? It was because of 'recent events' which of course was vaguely refering to the ongoing arguments I am having with name- and face- less enemies.
It is not my posts which are threatening to co-opt this forum, it is the fools out there like you. That is the only explaination, because otherwise Scott wouldn't have concluded that a memeber only forum is the answer, he would have just banned me. I think that only a memeber only forum is the answer. I continue to post in this forum only because that is where all the threads are. In a few weeks I hope they will be moving there and I will not have to put up with this any more.
