You must have a deep understanding of relativity to dismiss it so simply. I might ask what your actual expertise is on the subject if I thought you weren't just trolling again :P
Trolling? Not guilty?

If you read the papers on my website you will see why I disbelieve relativity. You don't need a deep knowledge when you can see the basic premises are unbelievable. I'm in good company. Many scientists disbelieve relativity.

One only needs to read the first paragraph to conclude that their is no set laws.

Quantum gravity (QG) is the field of theoretical physics that develops scientific models in an attempt to unify quantum mechanics (describes three of the four known fundamental interactions) with general relativity (describes the fourth known as gravity). The aim is to develop a quantum gravity theory that would unify all fundamental interactions into a single mathematical framework. Such a model would describe all known observable interactions in the universe at both subatomic and cosmological scales.

In the meantime we are supposed to believe that all is proven by a set of laws set in Principia since the 17th & 18th century by some guy named "Newton" The startcheist of all starched fearing fops, one that all peers were afraid to rebuke less loose their royal society standing.

In my high school days it was called the "Click" society, students whose parents could afford to supply their children with the latest clothing styles and a moderate allowance.

Johann Bernoulli, son Daniel Bernoulli, Leibniz, Leonhard Euler, Boyle (although deceased) and Robert Hooke> I hold responsible for not standing up and announcing their founded (now considered assumptions), that not all was as it now appears to be.

Tarsier79,

Your recent response's aimed in my direction lately leave me in preponderance of something that I am incapable to see or understand.

Is it possible that you have a personal grudge against me for which I am to ignorant to see?

You asked for a private forum, I gave you one, already established. You were the first to leave that forum activated for and upon your desire without a KMA or goodbye!

Since then all I see is derogatory remarks made in my direction.

So what is the problem?

If believability is the question then religion must be the answer.

Ralph, you make it sound like trying to develop and apply theoretical physics is a bad thing. Aerodynamics has no unified theory to explain all aspects of flight, yet we fly. Aerodynamicists do not yet have all the answers, and even argue amongst themselves, but they might all insist that you can't fly aeroplane wings made out of uncovered chicken wire. Of course you don't have to believe them if you don't understand their argument and/or you think anything is possible.

“It is a absolute fact there are no absolute facts lol. Theory’s and more Theory, best make them laws if you want credibility, and to hell with the truth!

Regards Trevor
Hi Ralph,
I have got my own understanding of how it all works, based on logic, putting all the theory’s in order, and being aware of what is going on around me, but the best part is I do not have any peers to close my mind!
Some here have gained the moral high ground on a rickety set of steps, do not shake their steps because they will not survive the fall, they are blissfully unaware that Gravity will do work and crack their hard heads on the floor, at least they will die happy as they will not be able to regain the height they lost, their last 6 feet though, they will have gained kinetic energy without gaining height. lol

Be warned next comes the slander, when you wanted proof, the good thing is then you know you are right!!!

With much respect Trevor

Trevor, in religious circles it might be seen as slanderous to ask someone for proof of principle, but in scientific circles it is seen as the path to greater knowledge.

Bill,

I do not intend or try to make it sound like theoretical physics is a bad thing. I am agreeing that they are "theoretical" which is a polite way of saying "assumed", leaving the door open ajar.

Aerodynamics, no different than fluid dynamics that you agree is not within the scope of a unified theory, is exactly my point. It is not "unified" and therefor open for assumptions, we do not have all the objective facts nailed down. There are things considered "assumed" since the renaissance of the 14th and 15th century.

Famous names of math and science of the 16th thru 18th century has to date still left us with these basic assumptions. Assumptions that are taught as impossibilities, simply because they have yet to be defined by objective reasoning.

I do not believe that just anything is possible, I do however believe that man has not proved beyond doubt; what he claims to be impossible is not possible.

The history books that tell of things once thought to be impossible that are now possible has not been finalized, there are a few chapters left to be written.

And no! I am not going to try flying in an airplane with open chicken wire for wings. although it does make for a good design to apply fabric to. The WWII British Herringbone wing design used in the IIRC "Lancaster" comes to mind.

Hi Ovvyus,
There is more than one Path though, so you take yours and I will take mine, but like religion it all comes down to personal belief! So lets put a end to the Spanish Inquisition!
Regards Trevor

Edit, I ask for proof and you gave me a closed system Theory!

Thats funny, I thought it was a good analogy.

Airing greviences specifically about a private forum in public? ...

Don't take it personally, I dislike 99% of people in varying degrees. Any comments I make are probably more aimed at what I consider to be the ignorance that is vomited across multiple threads.

As you have made me realise (and for this I thank you,) my dislike specifically for you, you will no longer have to worry about any "derogatory remarks", as I will assign you to the likes of Murilo, Christo etc, and click that magical button.

I guess reality is only what you perceive it to be. Good luck with your fluid wheel. May gravity turn your wheel forever;)

That is only true when proof of principle is never provided!

The scientific method tests ideas to destruction, belief be damned. The religious method is the opposite. Opposites often attract :D
