Hi Georg

Thanks for explaining - it all makes sense now. When I saw the photos in your "Name searched" post I realised that you probably meant that the weight of the black wheel in the diagram was eccentric and so I made a crude model to test the idea. Although I've only done a few tests and the model isn't very good I am definately seeing a 'jumping' effect on impact. I'll try another model with more weight and I should get a bigger jump. At least now I understand what you mean. Thanks for being so patient with us - it can't be easy! :)

All the best

To all,
of course we can also have a 'jump-down' during the hit(for the mathematicans). This is depending on, where the eccentric-weight is actually during the hit. Is it lower or higher than horizontal level. So with this function, you can act with, or against a movement, depending on when the roller hits the wall. For the Bessler construction we use the Up-Jump, to transfer energy to the big wheel.

This when is not a translation error !! Because during rolling sidewards, when will the eccenterweight be higher than horizontal level. Only then, the hit is allowed.

Sorry, that my knowledge of english is limited, but some times i am also speechless in german, because this are new functions, and we had to explain it in new words. So when I had tell you for a month only with words 'Well balanced too', a function, you will not be able to understand what i am talking about. What I try, is, to solve our speech babylon during conversation. Maybe, this way takes longer, but it leads definately to success und understanding for the most members of the board.
Best regards

Hi Georg,
why don´t you just post a video of your working device ?
How long should we still wait to see anything "real" from you ????
The more drawings you are posting the moree confusing it gets !
Just post a video !!!!!!

Regards, Stefan.

Hi Stefan,
I must not make a video. Everyone can see this function on a 'Kindergartenspielplatz'. Two children are walking on a lever(Schaukel).

The child downwards reaches with his hands a tree( Ast, Stange), and swing. The lever will now pressed down from the child upwards.

Just take two children and go to the 'Kinderspielplatz' and make this cheap experiment with the lever. Millions of this levers are existing worldwide, and everyone can proofe this function.

I do it not with children, I do it with eccenterrollers, shown in 'WELL BALANCED TOO'.

If you had a video camera, take a video from the walking and swinging childs.
Best regards

Hallo Georg,
why are you too shy to post a video ?
Don´t you have any guts ??
I don´t understand your example with the kids and the lever...

Why don´t you just anonymously post at least a few pictures, if you
don´t want to stand with your own name behind the invention ??

It makes no sense to me..

Trotzdem frohes Fest,
Gruss, Harti.

Why are you posting stuff in German? I tried to get it translated, but I couldn't understand,I only got the vaguest idea:
Now sometimes on German:
Why You have, actually, such fear to publish it?
If the Geheimniss is only sometimes out and knows everybody how one builds such a thing, then, nevertheless, you need to have no fear...
Thus if it really functioned with Yourself, then You should have rather fear if You do not publish it, because, nevertheless, then are rather
the Secret Services in it interested to wangle it out of You!

Well, thus slowly as it leads the way here and then
also not is explained properly, nevertheless, it confuses rather the people,
when it helps you...

It happens to me in such a way, as if it does not run with You, nevertheless, and You now
try to veil it....
I just see Sorry, but thus it...

Even though glad party,
Greeting, Harti.
Also, slightly different:
Now once in German: why do you have actually so an anxiety it to publish? If the secret is first once out and each constructs white, how one such a thing, you need to have yet no anxiety.. Yourself if it really functions with you, you should have sooner anxiety, do NOT publish if you it, for then the secret services are interested yet sooner at it, it you abzuluchsen!

Naja, so slowly how it will precede and then also not correctly explained here, confuses helps it yet sooner
the people, than it you..

It comes me so before as if it yet does not run with you and try you now, it to verschleiern... Sorry, but I so see
it now once..

Nevertheless happy festival, greeting, Harti.

Jonathan,

Georg is having trouble posting/reading English. Georg speaks German.

Stefan is from Berlin. He writes/reads German and English. He is trying to help Georg.

I just run the text through Babelfish and can get most of the meaning. German/English seem to translate poorly. Where is that Star Trek universal translator when you need it?
How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?

LOL.
Anyway, I didn't notice him having any trouble, I guess that shows how hard it is for me to understand him.

Georg, in a different thread, you said:
Gravity force*time has 'eaten up' all energy...
And it finally hit me, F*t=m*v=p, all this time you have been talking about momentum and impulse. So are all your ideas based on the concept that the weight should apply itself on one side for a short time and on the other for a long time?

Hi Jonathan,

I think now you can understand me. Gravity needs time to act !! You need a time difference between left and right side of the wheel. Bessler used a Hit on one side, this is documented.
The hit is very short in time. Look at well balanced too, and jumping up.
Best regards

Yes, I might, but you misunderstood Newton, like I thought. Newton knew of momentum. As to it's use in a wheel, who knows what he knew.

and now a little toy, to think about. When swinging the stick, and stop it suddenly, as demostrated on oscillation force, we get the following result.
Look at picture 2. It is the result after stopping a swing with a hit.
Up in nearly zero time. Hope that this helps this people who understand that gravity needs time to act.

and after the hit

Hi Georg

I remember that toy from when I was a kid! If you hold the stick with the paper part facing toward you horizontally and then flick it forward to the vertical position, then the paper shoots straight up. I don't have one of those toys now, but I've just replicated the same effect with a weight sliding on a stick. I know that what you're saying works - I've proved both this and the the setup in "oscillation force" by experimentation. However, I'm struggling with your explanation that gravity doesn't have time to act on the weights - I'm working on it though!

All the best

Hi all,
I'm struggling with your explanation that gravity does'nt have time to act on the weights.
I think what George is trying to say is that the weights don't have time for natural gravity to act and therefore need to use the sling shot effect to turn the wheel and raise the weights with a hit? Regards...Sevich

Hi all;
I have studied Georg's ideas in depth (among others) and I can honestly say that Georg has truly 'defeated/solved' Bessler's riddle within his own mind. That, in itself, is, in a way, commendable/admirable and for this, I tip my hat to Georg; but at the same time, I must regrettably say that the solution to Besslers' wheel has nothing to do with giving gravity time to work, nor has it to do with a hit with a trouble force nor a tecnic/hit/wall etcetera.
An intuitive solution to a gravity powered wheel is to implement ideas that involve a 'falling weight against the rim' so to speak. The solution I have found (which will be described shortly) while displaying the aforementioned result/evidence actually involves what can best be described as a 'leveraged push-pull circumscribing the axis'. I will try to post details of this solution in the new 'members only' section in the near future.
Good luck to all Bessler enthusiasts.
