Kind of hard to tell, but a couple of them thar reels look like Penn model 68's? Just right for sturgeon fishin up here in my country. Of course you have have the Mrs. along to bait your hook and throw it out for yu!

This ain't texas, but up here when you hook into a sturgeon, it had better be longer than 4-1/2 feet and less than six or you have to throw him back.
Its a real fun to play out an eight footer on 40 pound test, but a pain in the you know what when you have to release him.
And although I am over 250 miles inland the old Columbia can really draw your respect for that ocean going "V" bottom battle wagon.

Are you building a wheel? I am working on the details of a build now. Haven't started the build yet.
It would be good to have a thread where builders discuss where they are in their build.
