There is a coil and a capacitor.. Therefore, there is an oscillating circuit there.. Maybe this circuit have two functions, recharge from the antenna or stator..
I agree Lib, this is not just another crack post video.
My research has shown results in the same manner.

IMHO this machine is powered through two metal bolts supporting it. If you can see in the 1 min 5 sec of the animation, when the inventor takes the machine up and the connection with bolts is interrupted - it stops.
I would be wrong but I have my big doubts here.
