I would love to! but I will be spending every bit of money I can to build as many wheels as I can this year!

Its make or break year for me! I just want closure now "win or lose" then I can get back to my sail and board designs.

All the best bros, with much respect Trevor

138 the frame works seem right theres easy resetting of the sytem may be with mt 1 not sure but, 138 is by far my favorite.

My favourite engraving, along with a few others here, is the toys page.

In someways, you have to question it's inclusion and purpose. If you solve that particular puzzle then you're halfway there.

To me it depicts an unusual mechanical advantage that IMHO lies at the heart of a PM device ( not a wheel, as that is just a by product of that MA ). Overall, it is a depiction of Force, and how a masses weight can nullified within a rotational housing on the up swing ;-) )

In fact you could take weight out of the equation altogether. Once you do that, all bets are off.

Guys forget wheels, as the answer does not lie there.

Anyway, the Toys Page rules !

Hi Chris,

You can forget swing and CF, they both need work in that would not come into play with a good push, MT138 suggest drop weight drive to me, with that said my money is on Leverage, with or without weights!

With much respect Trevor

Edit, why no windows in the castle test? sign and seal the glass, and even get people to pay at the door!
I have been wrong before!

MT 138 has always been one of my favorites too. To me it represents the transfer of energy from a linear mechanism.
Beer is the cause and the solution of all my problems.

I agree that it depicts energy transfer in a linear form. ( or slightly arcing IMO ). PM cannot be derived from throwing weights around a fixed point of rotation ( there lies madness ), but weights in a balanced state can be rotated as a single system quite easily.

It comes back to a motion wheel over a gravity wheel.

Trevor,

I too still favour leverage

If I have to pick some favorite MT it cannot be one , but a group . The tests I have done recently have indicated to me that it is not possible to have any energy gain through weight displacement , or , as I have tried , to move the effect of gravity to another location as where the mass is . To have OB in a wheel you need to add mass from outside the wheel to where ever you want OB . This is the case with MT 28 and 29 , also MT 85 and 86 , the extra weight or extra energy is supplied from outside the wheel .
