A working principle is a principle that actually works. A working wheel is a wheel that actually works. If the principle has not yet been proven to actually work by building a working physical model then it is NOT a WORKING principle.christo4_99 wrote:How many of you want me to profess it here if I do have a working principle?
From the BessleWiki:
Wheels that are still in the concept or idea stage of development should never be referred to as "working". To do so is deceitful and dishonest.A working wheel would be a perpetual motion wheel that once set in motion continues to rotate while outputting usable rotational torque until physically stopped or the components wear out.
A perpetual motion wheel that is only a concept on paper or in a computer simulation is not a working wheel.
Discussing proposed ideas and concepts are very welcome and desirable. Bring them on. Most everyone has an idea or concept that interests them. But do not refer to them as "working" unless you are discussing how their components are expected to function. For instance, you could say, "The working principle behind this concept is ....". Just don't ever claim that you have found Bessler's secret or that you have a working wheel before it has been proven true. Doing so is dishonest, deceitful and makes you a liar.
Just my opinions.
PS. I absolutely hate liars. This world would be a much better place if people did not lie. Everyone has the right to privacy and thus does not need to explain or divulge all facts. But statements of fact should never contain false information. This is the fine line that Bessler walked. He never divulged certain facts. And as far as I know he never lied about his wheel, though most of the world thinks he was a fraud and a liar.
