Tired of Jim_Mich ??

No problem Ralph. The wording just needed a little clarification.rlortie wrote:Yes Alan, I had the same problem with Jim L. and yes you did knowingly or unknowingly get involved taking the heat off me!
That and the fact that I simply ignored his input until he turned his full attention on you.
If you feel I was unfair about how I posted, it was not intentional, if taken as such I apologize.

Jim,
you are the bullier and the consequences are straight at your face!
My vote is not computed since I'll be out of the responsibilities.
Your 'now cute and sweet way' is 100% weird and strange according the unfair, destructive, non-respectful and ferocious way you to deal people.
Many interested voters should consult previous msg, since this forum is a kind of book! Time will show it again!

Any intelligent comparison with 'avalanchedrive' will show that all PM turning wheels are only baby's toys!
re: Tired of Jim_Mich ??
Jim publicly asks people for their opinions, then proceeds to call them attacks because he is amped up to eleven.
I'm truly sorry he can't see how his rude negative behaviors bounce back and stick to himself. A butterfly flaps its wings and Jim is insulted.

Mr. Randall,
Your poll has now reached 74% claiming "His ideas are interesting"...
Do you have any ideas you would like to share?
Posting repetitively "Who is the bully" is getting tiresome and a sign of senility. Give it a rest!
How about some ideas leading to discussion of Bessler mechanics or
other configurations of perpetual wheels.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I always thought that was a pretty good philosophy too, raj, but ironically that might be why I'm currently having to deal with this mess.
As someone with an electrical engineering degree from an accredited engineering program of a state university in the United States, I once paid good money to have people stand at blackboards and work through physics and math problems so as to teach me how to do them. My good money also paid for those people to point out my errors on tests and in projects that had to be turned in and graded and so that I could actually see and learn from my mistakes also.
Well, out of the "goodness of my heart" and even FOR FREE, I might add, I decided I'd do the same for jim_mich and of course anyone else who might be interested when I happened to notice he was having some very real problems with his math.
What thanks did I receive for that help, though?
My true words were called lies, it was suggested that I was a fool and most recently I was accused of "bashing" him.
Here is the post he responded to with that accusation and in which you should be able to clearly see that I was doing absolutely no such thing. (I apparently didn't address him directly because he didn't seem to be in the forum at the time.)

So, I simply quoted some text from what appeared to be an edition of the Machinery's Handbook that he had gotten a formula out of. The text clearly applied to the formula which he had used in his calculations and indicated that it gave the length of the equivalent simple pendulum of a compound pendulum. That means the formula he used did not give the radius of gyration of a two point mass system as he clearly indicated that he thought it did.
This information (and which I just happened to stumble upon when I was looking up something else, btw) confirmed my prior suspicions about the formula and so also confirmed that the "discrepancy" in his answer from the correct answer obtained from numerous valid methods - even including his own when the proper radius of gyration is used - truly was due to just a mistake on his part.
Again, what was that mistake? He simply grabbed and used the wrong formula from his handbook. (Well, of course, that was his most recent of mistakes. Other mistakes of his had already been dealt with, though.)
If jim_mich wanted to thank me now for my help, I would appreciate it. If he were to apologize to me for all the other stuff, I would accept it. If he asked me for my forgiveness, he would certainly receive it.
...but for now I have a responsibility to stand by the truth - which, of course, anyone should be able to see if they were to actually investigate my words.
The religion I was brought up in says we're supposed to speak the truth even if we are persecuted for it. So be it.
If you are interested in solving physics problems correctly, you might want to make sure you read my posts. I try my best to get them right. If you are interested in increasing your vocabulary when it comes to vulgarities and curse words, though, you might want to read jim_mich's. Oh, and it seems he can be quite creative with his use of language, too, like when saying things such as "stinky he-goat type slime bastards" ...lol... ...nice. I still think that would make a good band name.
Take care,
Dwayne

My dear Dwayne,
After reading your last post, I immidiately thought of a Beatles' song:
' Let it be! Let it be! Let it be.
When it comes to 'TRUTH', I personally believe there is no one on earth that knows the ABSOLUTE truth.
Truth belongs to belief and belief is personal.
Your truth and my truth depend on our separate knowledge and may differ from what we have learnt and from which source.
Therefore, Gentlemen, let's just agree to disagree. Just let it be!
