He'll ruminate & come back here under an assumed name if he hasn't already, just to satisfy his curiosity. How do you stop that ?

So what if he comes back under an assumed name. I somehow don't think he's smart enough to hide his IP unless he's conned someone else out of another computer and has it located on another ISP. Besides, like Ralph said, those that have had dealings with him would have no problem recognizing an assumed alias - just look for all caps and no common sense :D

The message should be simple and direct - frausters will be found out and banned. I don't think we have a choice. IMO, the alternative to not acting is more unacceptable than dealing with another dopey alias on the board.

IMO = in my opinion. Here's an even bigger list: http://www.shanemcdonald.com/laughs/l-S ... onyms.html

In hopes of not making false accusations or violating my trust, but yet expressing my feelings, please take note of the above emphises.

I would rather build rep. points than loose what I have.

Ralph, I get what you're saying.

However, from my point of view the rep system isn't so much about 'building points' as it is an alert tool. I don't see all that much difference between 'acknowledged', 'appreciated', 'respected', or even 'god-like guru'. IMO, it's all about a warning system and nothing about how great people might think you might be.

If you're going to limit your comments based on whether or not you think you'll get a negative rep from us, then the system is flawed. If I thought you were saying things just to please, I'd give you a neg rep! Just joking (but not really) :D

I am glad you see my point. It is not the forum as a whole I am concerned about, it is member trust accumulated in private posts.

There is no intention of posting just to please or raise my score. As you know I express my thoughts with no "give me a bone" attitude.

As Scott has stated, he is proud that this forum is recognized by crank.net. I will be proud to keep one green box checked.

Guys,
Got this from Darrell on March 16th from vandugegs@yahoo.ca.

I said no.

Pete.

Hello Pete

I have just found out that I need to bring my machine to Smiths Falls.
My sister and brother-in-law, are selling their home and I need to get my machine out of their.
I know this will take a lot of trust but I need to ask you for a loan.
Is thier any way, you can lend me $1,350.00 Dollars?
I hope you can but if you cannot, I'll odviously understand.
Their idea of storage, is hideing the machine parts at the acredge in the trees and that would be the end of some of the moving parts.
Please let me know, either way.

Best regards and sorry I had to ask.

Darrell

P.S. Please keep this confedential.
P.S.S. Will you be coming to Ont. this summer?

Ah yes... Searl... another bogus lying ratbag pushing crap uphill. Met him, met some of his followers, met some of his ex investors - ouch! Darrell's just a simpleton next to Searl. Actually, Darrell's just a simpleton next to my cat.

Don't forget Newman and Bruce Lee, They could have learned a lot from Bruce. Understand he is still active and now playing on the religious.

By the way how is Lutec doing down there in Kangaroo land?

Yeah... Well, I think the Lutec boys are still coming to terms with an embarrassing measurement error. New Zealand's Robert Adams had a similar problem back in '94 when I showed him the simple systematic measurement error he'd been making for the previous 25 years. He's still in a state of denial and I hear he still hates my guts - oh well :-/

Don't forget Newman and Bruce Lee,
I think you mean Dennis Lee. Bruce would kick your butt for the comparison if he were still around. :)
