Absolutely.
Although I doubt that one bessler wheel can power one house or a construction site. And there is simply no more room in an average house to have a couple of them. But once there is proof of a working PM, then more engineers can shine their light.

Rather than trying to fit the wheel in or around a home, how about they mass produce wheels a couple stories tall, so you can just live inside it? It'd preferably be a low-speed-high-torque type, so you can climb stairs up to the axle, and enter the it there, but without falling over like those similar circus fun-house attractions. And they'd call it the "peritrochome".
I assume there'd be large gondola hanging from the axle inside, so you have a place to stand, sit, sleep, place furniture, etc., you could hardly nail your shoes and tv to the outer rim and just ride along with it.
