That's a little unsettling. Could it be that the people who answer the phones are not well informed? You say you were reluctant, did you tell them? Regardless of whether Scott's a crook, this site has only given me good things, I'd hate to loose it.
But wait, something has just occurred to me, if Scott is a crook, then why would he not have been more interested in your device, or more concerned that you're leaving? Wouldn't he have hung on your every word like me? Granted, that arguement doesn't sound good for me, but I have a lot of time, and I think this will get solved, and the sooner the better.

I'm not a rat. I know that private registry is available but it is in the domain registrars name. If a query is made as to the owner of the domain that would be given freely. This just prevents the harvesting of information for marketing purposes and does not provide anonymity.

Scott knew I withdrew any further output of the device and hence the reason for his retaliation of IP posting. That was not available before because I would have created the post with an anonymous IP as I am doing with this one.
This is also the reason he needs to put false information in his registry so that if someone publishes an idea he can simply shut the board down without trace.
He's not even in CO. LOL

Oh. And when you registry for a private domain they are pretty strict with Id verification. Either through Credit Card or Voice confirmation and they won't confirm if you give them a cell phone number.

I understand the point of the thread, that has been clear for some time. But as of yet I have seen no proof from either side supporting either's assurtions. And at least you've tried, Patrick hasn't said anything. Though he hasn't been on all day like us either.

There is no explanation needed Scott. It was done to see if the board had integrity, and if the host was honest, which obviously you are not as you have posted my IP address. I knew that if I started this thread that something from Scott would surface and then I would know my length of trust towards him. If I published my device on this board do you really believe that Scott would have been honest, and not have shut the board down and claimed it for himself. Don't believe otherwise. Nothing is safe to greed. I stated earlier in this post that this was the reason for the thread.

First of all, you, "TommyK", owe a very big apology to Scott. None of this IP address garbage came up until YOU thought that an HTML tag/gag was sending your 'information' to the board, thereby (you thought) revealing you to all. Then you conveniently changed the direction of the thread towards "honesty of the host". Judging from your reaction to the tag, which I posted by the way, it really caught you off guard. Seems like a 'nonsense' post actually did some good after all, didn't it? You fell for something that wasn't even directed at you. Nobody lifted the rock. You scurried out from under it all on your own.....
You owe Scott a sincere apology for accusing him of something he had no part of. It's as simple as that....

Well I, for one, have had just about enough of this thread. But I don't delete threads or posts. As a matter of policy, I will only delete or alter posts if they contain offensive language.

IP addresses are public information available in every packet that traverses the internet.

I never said that I could prove TommyK is Mitch Robinson. I said that is what I believe. As TommyK has so aptly pointed out, IP tracking is an inexact science. By enabling IP tracking, I only hope to raise the bar a little on dishonest behavior.

TommyK, as for your numerous personal attacks on me, I will not legitimize them by answering. My actions and your actions speak for themselves.

TommyK, if you want to try to shut down BesslerWheel.com over this silly affair, please go right ahead. Good luck! But if you are really being honest, just what would be your motivation for such vindictiveness? :-)

Vindictiveness was not an intent. I merely wanted to know if I could go ahead and publish without the fear of having works stolen.

It is not my intent to have the board shut down, but as I stated in an earlier post, it was simply to find out if the host was honest. Several things have led me to believe that you are not 100% honest. One being the false registry info. You could simply have your correct info and have placed a wrong number, but you went the extra step and placed "Bogus"
I am not trying to attack anyone here I believe that this discovery would help everyone but I am not willing to let someone roll away with the wheel as their own discovery. No pun intended.

I am a professional man of truth. I know much about the internet and the way it runs. If my intentions were other then what I said they were, I would have masked my IP from the start. It was intentionally left as is because public IP was not available when I started the thread and only your server logs would have made them available to you and your trusted circle.

I am not here to attack anyone and I answer all questions in the most honest, helpful way that I can. I have been attacked by several posters who say I am a scam artist or that I am this Mitch person, who by the way I have just learned today who he is.
What am I scamming? Have you heard me request anything from anyone?
F-U-A was my way of letting those who doubt Thomas know that I have no time for them. And I kept it verbally clean.

I know this board is a value to those that may discover certain unknown learnings and it should be kept to that area mainly.

And as many have stated, anonymous posting should be eliminated just to avoid these wasted times. Ebola Monkey for example as well as others that post under various names. BB=Patrick etc.

TommyK, that is some circuitous logic indeed.

Here's the documented timeline of events:

1. You start making extraordinary claims.
2. At the same time, you are posting under false aliases and seem to be having a discussion with yourself.
3. I decide to enable IP tracking (which had been on my todo list for quite a while) in order to make spurious anonymous posting more difficult.
4. You start personally attacking me as dishonest and claiming that my board is some sort of scam.

I'll let my readers draw their own conclusions from here...
