A binary solution ?!...

re: A binary solution ?!...
I thorght that the wheel might be more sensitive to weights moving on the the rim, it would be like having a larger leaver
This is very true. Many do not understand this simple fact.Tarsier79 wrote:If you shift a weight vertically 10cm, it will give the same rotational energy to the wheel, regardless of its location and radius on the wheel.
Suppose you have two equal weights on a wheel and you raise one weight at 12 o'clock from 50 inch radius upward outward to 55 inch radius and you raise the other weight at 6 o'clock from 55 inch upward inward to 50 inch radius. It gives the same energy as raising weight upward outward from 10 to 15 inch radius and raising weight upward inward from 15 to 10 inch radius.

Hi jim,
I was thinking this could be why the Bessler wheels were so big because the large prime mover weights operating around the axle had to be so far away from the shifter weights operating close to the rim. I've got a idea for a wheel that works like this and i'm thinking about building it, just wonderd what you guys thorght,
thanks

.....or a binary mechanical combining parts to form a kinetic sculpture, at:

This work of art plays gravity, inertia and wind .
I hope,it can arouse our inspiration,so we can turn successfully our gravity+inertia "game" !

Everything breaks down to binary eventually.
Once you have eliminated the impossible whatever remains however improbable must be the truth.
re: A binary solution ?!...
Broslad, it doesn't matter if the shift is near the center, or near the rim. Near the rim, it will be affected more by CF. The amount of shift is what matters, regardless of where it is. The cost of shifting is the problem.

Sorry Murilo,
I see two solutions ("Everything breaks down to binary eventually" - John Doe):
Or, because:

Despite his choice of words, at least he claims success.the author wrote:There are no school assessments that provide evaluation on creativity and imagination, these are hard to draw up and measure and receive very little attention in our education systems

re: A binary solution ?!...
....is a simple concept proposal , to "think binary" about a possible gravity motor , as a "copy" of :
www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGBANgbRkws
Defining binary : something made of or based on two things or parts...
Defining the "binary appearance" of a gravity powered device : we need to play no more than two masses...acting variable/oscillatory leverage , due to a continuous unbalance/torque difference on the same side of the fulcrum.
