I've come to realise that to attempt to patent such a device is meaningless in the long-term scheme of things.

As the provable discoverer of such a device, there is sufficent reward in that to last a lifetime.

Who here, in all honesty, would not want to discover something meaningful, that the impact of it is felt and written about long after your death ?

We all pass our DNA on just like every other primate,sure, but apart from a few grunts and pumps, its hardly a monumental act of analytical prowess is it ?

So beyond that, what do you want to be remembered for ?

Or maybe Raj's Rationale.....?

My point is this, if you want this posthumous acclaim, forget about everything you think that you might know about Bessler's Device, as it is not what you think it might be.

In short, the reality is it encapsulates the very elemental forces that surround us, and represents life it self in its purest form, motion.

From zero-point and out to the very edges of the Known Universe, with not a wheel in sight, there is motion.

John, The first person to make a public declaration and can document that event has "Prior Art" and can use the argument that he was the originator of the idea. A Provisional Patent can be applied for online, with a little explanation and a drawing. It does not cost much and gives you 1 year to apply for a real patent. The patent office will issue you a number, which you can use as a patent pending on your work. This only means that they see that you had this idea on this day. They do not agree on anything that is in your document .... just that they see it on this day. USPTO has a wonderful help line and I have a number of patents that were started by a humble and simple provisional patent.

Just picture this:

1. Wheel A and Wheel B connected in some way, always stay and rotate together in balanced state.

2. Wheel B and Wheel C connected in some way, such that Wheel C always stay and rotate in a unidirectional overbalanced state.

3. It goes without saying that all three wheels are connected and will rotate together because one of them is always overbalanced.

I'm trying to visualize your concept. Are the 3 wheels trading back and forth at being unbalanced? Like A + B turns C.then B + C turns A,then C+A turns B. Something like that?
