The only reason I could think of to ride down the middle of a creek bed in a buckboard wagon is if the bloodhounds are tracking you. Otherwise I'd keep it on the road.
What are you saying Robert? :) Hope your tests are going well.

You told me you were sincere by phone and e-mail and you said I was the chosen one and how you prayed about it much before you gave me your phone number.
Then you never even spoke again by phone, e-mail or the forum.
So I take your sincerity like a grain of salt.
Sincere only until you decided not to call back or say why I was not the chosen one.
What happened to the (God told me to choose you first thing)?
, Just a simple reminder of your actions speak louder than words you write.
And myself?
Let him who has not sinned cast the first stone.

I saw last night that that my "reputation" had dropped.
As punishment for whoever did that, I won't be posting any more to this site about what I'm doing and how it's going.

Robert,
I'd like to ask you to reconsider. Reputation isn't everything. Heck it's only value is to keep everyone thinking along the same lines in the same stagnant pool of worn out ideas. You have those with their highly retarded perspectives passing gas into their wheels insisting that everyone enjoy the smell then you have the ones with actual ideas getting their hands dirty and spending time and money trying to figure out what makes a wheel turn.
Don't play into the hands of the lawyers (monkey lawyers in their kangaroo court) by giving up your voice in the market place of ideas. You might not put your ideas in a manner acceptable to some yet they are your ideas and you're entitled to express yourself as you see fit. If some drama queen wants to be spoon fed your ideas the way they like perhaps they should talk to their momma about it. Be a sport, Robert. Don't take the monkeys too seriously and duck when they start reaching for their behinds.

Robert,
Gene is right about this rep bar thing. The actual number of members who use it is so low that it only takes one to raise or drop you a notch. Then there some who realize this and will drop you just to see the response.
If its a personal problem with some one then ignore the source. I for one could care less about your personality or sense of humor. I look at you for your accomplishments in your shop. What or how you comment on some ones spelling your personal side, and that is not what we should be interested in.
I too have considered pulling the plug more than once. I would and could spend more time building. As a builder like yourself I would hate to loose contact with you. I always open your thread first, except at present I am more excited to see where this fellow Judd is going with his positive announcement.
The secret is to stay with subject matter and forget the puns and flaming, it is not productive and only caused more inappropriate rebuttal.
If I got something personal to discuss or a joke to ripe to post, I send it my PM, and believe me there are a number of members on my joke list.

The same here Robert, my rep bar goes up and down for no apparent reason, and I really don't give a dam. The only thing that is important is sincerity.

Well I've stayed away from your rep buttons Robert (either + or -) because I'm still not sure about you yet. However, to help avoid your punishment of all for a single persons action (haven't struck that since my grade 3 teacher - god she was awful) I thought I might hit your green button and see what happens... look, your rep jumped up a notch - that's gotta make you happier :o)
This monkey wants a banana. It also has an itchy arse, so watch out - lol

Robert...
If it will make you feel any better, my own rep bar has oscillated from between 2 green dots and 5 since I got here last March. If you post something that "Wow's" everybody it will rise and if you annoy some people it will sink. Yes, I always feel a little better when it rises and a little worse when it declines. But, ultimately, I am my own worst critic. I know when I'm making progress and when I'm not...I do not need a rep bar rating to tell me that. If you are making progress than the lowest rep bar rating will mean nothing and, if you are not making progress, then the highest rep bar rating will mean...nothing.

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

OK, I guess it was the Bessler in me screaming to get out or something. I didn't destroy my wheel however.
You guys are pretty funny. Maybe when this is all over next year, we can have a big bash together to celebrate the discovery...
I'm backing down to 96% completion of rediscovery of the PM mechanism.
Tonight, I see, my latest way of generating a toothpick's worth of force is too complex and tight. The wheel turns easily, and the weights move, but I have to stand there and add power constantly.....like less than what would break a flat toothpick, instead of just at one point as before.
Yet, there are other ways on my list and best next one still uses cables and pulleys, but adds free hanging weights in another system. That's all I want to say about that.
I just tried it with the 12 additional weights, and it wants to go. It just gets better--this time when I saw what was happening a cold chill went down my back...
The 12 additional weights when hanging by themselves, are always in balance. And, when I turn the wheel they are always in balance, and......

Went to the trouble of making a WM model of the above additional system.
It indeed does not take anything away from the wheel and pulls where a pull is needed.
This just may be the "herd, .....wandering aimlessly."
And what was causing the scratching sounds in Bessler's wheels......
I believe this added system is the missing part required.
I will be away for several weeks.....
