My AGW design is improving.
Confidence is growing.
Concept testing is progressing.
Details not forthcoming.
Just some waiting.

I did notice the different spelling of 'principal and principle' soon after posting.

You're in good company, raj. :-) ..... except they obviously didn't notice it before "posting".
The above is a screen shot from a video on matters leading up to the first world war.

It's from

"37 Days is a British documentary drama miniseries that was first broadcast on BBC Two from 6 to 8 March 2014. The three-part miniseries covers the weeks before World War I, from the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria on 28 June 1914 to the United Kingdom declaring war on Germany on 4 August 1914.[1]"
Cast[edit]
Cast of 37 Days — the senior members of the Cabinet.
Ian McDiarmid as Edward Grey
Nicholas Farrell as Eyre Crowe
Tim Pigott-Smith as Herbert Henry Asquith
Sinéad Cusack as Margot Asquith
So "they" is Ian McDiarmid and Sinéad Cusack.

Dear Grimer,
At 70 years old, I have learnt to accept, respect and not poke fun at others' shortcomings.
I am on this forum to share and receive ideas.
I am not here for English tuition.
I expect comments on my ideas, not on my English Language expertise or lack of it.
I wish a Good Day!

re: Cracking the nut with Archimedes principal?
The most difficult part in a AGW concept testing model, is finding screws and nuts of the right thread pitch (minimum 0.5 in pitch), which would facilitate the expected positive OB.
I am trying my hand at improvised screw and nut. They are looking a bit clumsy built.

I say this with much love.
You are an absolute lunatic if you think your AGW concept will work, but as we are all inmates in this asylum you're quite normal when compared to the guy next door.

Use cam lifts in stead of a screw thread, easier and cheaper to make. It's easy to make it lift the weight towards the rim at the top and lift the weight towards the centre at the bottom.

re: Cracking the nut with Archimedes principal?
Dear Nick,
Thanks a lot for your kind suggestion.
I'll look into it.
I still think that the NUTS/SCREWS system would be more suitable for the job.
I have found, with my different concept testing, the heavier the weight, the better the nut/screw lift the weight upwards, half the thread pitch height.
It looks to me as if the weights themselves (the heavier they are) lift themselves upwards, by their own swinging motion.
Look at the pictures and video on the previous page. they show two NUTS/SCREWS/Heavy weight on a 12 cms seesaw pivoting/ rotating an a tilted stick as axle that I am holhding.
That is why I am so eager to do a proper concept testing. I am working hard on this.

I must be dumber than a bag of rocks as I swear it's just the flick of your wrist that's rotating the nut up the thread !
What is it you see that I don't ?
