Yes and no. It just means that if it was CF, it was probably much more complex inside, CF parts spinning two or four times the rotational speed of the wheel.

As well as the friction issue, a small wheel also significantly changes the availability of air pressure change such as the suspected principle of the Aldo Costa wheel. It also affects volume, hydro-static pressure, internal aerodynamic and venturi forces etc.

Being a clock maker, he may be proficient in making small brass gears, bushes and precision parts.

JC:
His brother Gottfried, also living at Carlshafen, died 3.5.65 and was buried in "Orffyreischen Begräbnishaus" (Bessler's crypt)
Hotzenplotz:
3. Not Gottfried but his widow died in 1765 and was burried in Carlshaven. I think it would be more interesting if one could trace Gottfried, not Crone, because Gottfried was familiar to Bessler, not Crone.
It gets confusing fast.

Newspaper:
In may the PM is ready, and although it's just a model, driving two hammers, with a diameter of 10 Zoll, he is willing to sell it for a good price.
I imagine the two hammers is in reference to two knocks per rotation?
( just realized it is probably the load).
I wonder what the good price now was? Bessler's fire sale 8P
