Just because I believe that there is a God you assume (or expect) me to be a this "model" Christian, put it this way - God does not play a big role in my life as it does yours, nor do I believe that any spiritual enlightenment will get me closer to any working solution, or help me understand his universe any better. I'd prefer to stick to scientific methods to unravel his secrets.

I didn't assume or expect anything. I only suggested the idea of considering God or the creator for clues and understanding. Some have suggested looking at Bessler's writings to get a feel and understanding of his thought process, thinking that if they thought his thoughts they might come to his conclusions. Bessler thought a lot about God.

I had no objection to coylo stating his religious views in a thread that at the time wasn't Off-Topic. Nor did I have any objection to you stating your religious views in that same thread. What I do find objectionable is your thinking that you have a right to state your religious views in a thread that is not Off-Topic then strenuously object to views that are contrary to yours. Rather elitist of you.

These several pages I've been attempting to get you to share some basis in reality your irrational fear that religious fanatics will try to use science (or anything else) as a tool to aggressively dominate the belief's of others - BOOM! Rather than simply give some example you'd rather change the subject or sink into ad hominem.

In light of your blatant hypocrisy (posting religious points of view in threads that aren't Off-Topic yet objecting when others do) and evasive responses to a direct inquiry to your reasoning for your irrational fear I'm afraid we're at an impasse.

Since I'm putting a fork in this thread I'd like to close by restating the point that you so miserably failed to counter. It is a person's right to determine the terms and timing of their expression. Ah yes, it's all so clear to me now... all this time I've gotten it completely wrong. Also, other people just keep getting it wrong too. It's really not you at all - it's them.

It's not that you're a bigot or anything - it's just that people keep taking you the wrong way... when you call someone an idiot, you're actually making them a compliment... when you call their belief's absurd, you're actually just suggesting that they're an idiot... when you call someone a godless communist, you're actually just suggesting that their belief's are absurd, etc, etc, around we go.

You're not a bigot at all - no, of course not. It's just a simple case of everyone with an opposing point of view taking your fanatical religious belief thumping completely the wrong way. A simple case of repeated misunderstanding when all you're trying to do is help others to appreciate that you're religious belief is right and their's is wrong - then because they keep taking you the wrong way you have to go to all the trouble of constantly defending your free right to be a bigot wherever you like.

As previously stated, I look in on this thread occasionally looking for a good laugh.

Best one yet is the statement that God and science cannot be separate, and then pages are are used in (argument by the same person) that they are separate.

What do you do take turns first on one side and then the other? :-)
