re: Jokes
There are some good movies out there, Ralph. Recently my wife and I saw The End of the Spear. The primitive culture that the movie was about had a teaching that was handed down thru the generations; it was wrong to kill. It's interesting that a teaching like that survived for so many years but what's even more interesting is how they ignored it.

re: Jokes
I was listening ot the radio a few weeks ago. I think the movie is suppose to take place in Wyoming but it was filmed in Alberta. Anyways where it is suppose to be is getting a large number of tourists all asking where they can see the gay cowboys, it was said that one responded with, we are underpaid and the job is hard enough to have to put up with this.
Murilo your starting to scare me :).

Michael,
A number of years ago Canada passed content (censor) laws to enforce a certain percent of Canadian content in movies and recordings. Because of this the movie and record industries makes sure to film enough scenes and make enough recordings in Canada so they won't get black listed. When I was a teenager we used to listen to Canadian rock radio station CKLW in Windsor, Ontario just across the river from Detroit. This was a very powerful AM station that reached almost to Chicago. But after the Canadian content laws were passed it could no longer play all the American songs.

Hi Jim,
Yes I know that. Canadian radio is forced to play at least 30 percent canadian content. i'm not sure why you are saying this, if it is just for information or in relation to my post. If it is to my post I should clarify that the tourists aren't copming to Alberta they are coming to Wyoming, or wherever it is suppose to take place, looking for the gay cowboys.

Mike,
you say I'm starting to scare you, because you offended to brazilians and gays... Bad boy!
For the other side, in any danger, you just have to move...
I'm not sure if you'll convince anyone, when you confirm yourself to be a brazilian! :]]]]] and :]]]]]]]]

Michael,
I am showing my age, but I thought Wyoming is where you found the females capable of removing the chrome off a 2-5/16" trailer ball hitch. As depicted in the movie "Electric Horseman" with Nicolas Costner and Jane Fonda. LOL!

I know this is in the jokes section, but I believe there is a serious message in here somewhere with all the wars going on in the middle east. Enjoy.

re: Jokes
Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.
"How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!" You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key.
You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.
"How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . . . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50
and your dreams are gone.
But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80s and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; "I Was JUST 92."
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!"
May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!

Michael,
Today 3/21/06 I celebtrated my 33rd Birthday for the third time. Yup! I turned 66 today! Just another day of playing with wheel designs in my shop and keeping the computer desk chair warm.
