His Invitation

Who is it that heaves the oar upon the dry lake bed.....whose wing beat left men scratching their heads?


Who bolts upstream like a beam of light? The fly fisher, lost in befuddled spite...


Who is not trapped and firmly caught.....in the roiling sea of mankind's collective thought?


Will man survive to rue the day, that he traded his place for beam and for ray....


and every other sort of virtual toy......for which shouts man with voice of boy.



Aim small, miss small it has been said.....



So, just how many Angels dance on a pin's head?



As man rushes inward answering many a riddle...... fearless of that which awaits him at the middle....



Will his quest end with honor, be he beknighted?



Or instead cast further outside than before,



to forever envy those He invited.....




Man's hopes in the first tower of babel were dashed, for perhaps much the same reason old Johann's wheel was smashed.



Man ultimately squanders freedom to his own ends.....this cycle of bondage upon which depends,



His cowardly though conquerable, innate predilection,



to despise He who was, is and will always.....



personify perfection.






I invite any who read this to kneel in silent solitude and invite Christ into their heart, asking for His revelation unto them, that they may come to receive invitation to the grand supper that awaits His children.

I don't know a 'Ran Levi'. Nor have I seen any of his posts on this board. You have my truly heartfelt condolences for your own obvious condition of animosity toward, and intolerance of those who profess beliefs contrary to whatever it is you might, or might not believe in.

I have never claimed to be this man, nor have I knowingly had contact with him. Having just googled his name, I find that he is a professor at Aberdeen college, specializing in mathematics. How should he have anything to do with myself.....an avowed novice regarding the algebraic expression of mathematics?

Have you ever studied Christ's teachings? If so, what about them did you find so repugnant?
