For a look at potential competition. Still no tax credit for PM http://www.doe.gov/

JW,
hi.
Thanks for the tip.
I have an open an eye at competitors... even if they are not in BW.

It's good to have a open mind,Murilo.Take a look at this early water turbine patented in 1864.Its inventor discovered a improvement, because he observed a increase in RPMS when a malfunction with a drive key caused the old style wheel to slide sideways on its shaft. He had a open mind, which resulted in a 40% power increase in water tubines.Have you made any progress with the avalanch drive?

Joel, hi.
Thanks for asking.
The main drive for a real avalanche is its 'release', its ' start'.
Same stuff is playing with this project... time will come.
A SolidWorks simulation model will come soon, very soon.
There is a guy who said that humanity is stupid... I say it's 'outist'.
Open mind causes suffering and adventure. I love and need to guess, of sure, as, fortunately, many others.
All the best! M.

I thought this Discussion Board had done a fairly good job of evaluating your "Avalanche Drive" device (I like the name!) and concluded that it was unworkable. Yet, you wrote:

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

Ken...
you have had much more distroyed ideas in this board and you are still not in silence!
All arguments against - that I could understand - are infantile ( JMich likes this word! ) and superficial.
I'm not talking of a single PM or any curious self-running device!
Ken, I'm talking about free energy!
My deal with these SW people is that case it will not run, they will send me the reasons.
After receiving these reasons - if they come - my mind will be still with the same conceptions... as you can easily guess... :]
Yes! I am your competitor, amigo!
Take care! M.

Well, I do admire your determination and all I can say is that I hope you have success with the design. If so, then please let us know about it. If you can get it to work, then there will be a lot of embarrassed skeptics at this Discussion Board!

Ken,
determination is the lighter part of the stuff.
I'll let you know the progress.
It will be interesting to see what SW people will say if it works in computer screen. Are they going to become skeptical? :]
Of sure, skepticals' embarrasment is not my objective, but anyhow this will be a kind of a nice and sweet dessert...

Nevertheless, Best of luck murilo! I hope your confidence & enthusiasm drive you to an avalanche of success!

Thanks, Seawasp and Aging!
Avalanchedrive ( joinned 2 words) still looks like this photo.
( This photo just shows a part of the chain in 3 sequenced phases and the rails and the hooked wheel are not there.)
The avalanche is still very quiet...
By the way, can you see to the absolutely un-balanced composition of the chain set? Take another look and try to evaluate this.
The so called CG is a little complex here.
The main CG is at the under wheel shaft and 2 other secondary CG are applied at oposite radians of this same wheel.
These radians behavie just like two arms of a current bascule... there is nothing to support heavier side... there is nothing to break the lighter...

Nice image of the chain from the AvalancheDrive device. But, I was wondering. Why be bothered with a complex, friction prone chain when one can get the same effect by using the hydraulic equivalent of the AvalancheDrive which I call the "Tidal Wave Drive"?!
I've attached a quick sketch below.

Ken,
I posted the image of the articulated overbalanced chain because there's a reason it won't work (can be read about here) and because of it's similarity to the avalanche drive.
At that same site I noticed the idea of the Self-Moving Railway Carriage that iis very similar to the toothless cheeto eating fAtnhapy's idea. It's a neat site with a lot of information.

Aging, you got that photo of sure from Simanek's site, and this photo is mine - I did it myself - and it's also down here in this forum - see matter - in ''ideas''.
Ken, the reason why there is no mechanical comparisson between my chain and this hydraulic set is that the water, or a fluid, *may not* be 'profiled' and offer *punctual* pression with integral mass. You disapointed me, Ken! regs. M.
