it does stop abruptly ....the last thing stated that mite be going on is " electrolise " ....in his can ....?

it seems to be quite simular to the "joe cell "

There are so many ways to decieve here...

A Secret Box?

Maybe its just me but doesn't adding justa little bit of "water" into a large tank mean absolutely nothing?

There is either a whole bunch of conmen using the same H20 prank recently or maybe there on to something...

I dont know, I am really so tired of the whole field right now...

Interesting Coylo, thanks.
The fact that the tailpipe emissions were pretty much the same as with a gasoline powered engine raises a red flag.
The inventor says its the engine oil that is causing the CO emissions and not his water fuel.
I don't buy it, as cylinder wall lubrication oil does not burn in sufficient amounts to give the same emission results as found in a gasoline powered engine.
All his secrecy makes me wonder what he's playing at.

Hi Guys .. Here is the link to Steve Ryan's BiosFuel. He is based in Auckland, New Zealand. I saw the 60 minutes item here locally about 6 months ago. He is naturally secretive about exactly how it is supposed to work as he try's to raise investment funds to continue his R&D & take the product to market etc. I was left with the feeling after the show that I couldn't decide if he was for real or not. He seemed genuine & convincing but that may mean the self delusion is complete ? Who knows ? The mechanic who supervised the running test should have known his stuff but then we know next to nothing about him. The vial of 'treated' water connected to the carb may have been for diversionary purposes. Also water is often injected into high performance engines (like aircraft jet engines) to give a better performance, so it could simply have been doing that instead of actually being the fuel as claimed. I couldn't help thinking there may have been another fuel source tucked into the frame or under the seat etc. JMO's. As I said, there really was insufficient information or detail unless you wanted to take a big punt :)

So what conclusion did the report come to (which was unfortunately cut short in that video)?

the jury is still out.....?
IMO.... it fell apart when it had exhaust gases like hydrocarbons coming out of the tailpipe ..... the inventor claimed it was from the oil in the crank case.
I once had a smog license, and operated a machine very similar to what they used to test the inventor's motorcycle..... the exhaust gas emissions tell me he was full of potatoes.....!

Yes Coylo, it was pretty hard to look past the exhaust emissions that had the same signature trace as ordinary hydrocarbon fuel. His claim of it coming from the crank case oil seemed a bit lame at the time & the program didn't push it any further.

The thought that struck me at the time was that the exhaust pipe itself should have shown signs of rust &/or corrosion if run exclusively on water. Also the end of the pipe wouldn't have been carbonized as is usually the case, but they never took any look at that IIRC. Additionally the gasket sets & seals should have shown unusual wear I would have thought, but the mechanic didn't pull the head for the program or talk about this if in fact he was allowed to see inside.

So everybody just has to make up their own minds based on the information available. I haven't seen an update since.

The motor did not run on water !

It ran on "secret electolyzed" water.

The "water" poured onto the container was treated by 20 minutes "in the can".

You could also see that there was two electric cooling / heating elements on each side, wich was connected together with a wire.

They could drink the water before pouring in onto the can, but after they poured the "fuel" out of the can, it smelled something, and they could NOT drink it.

I have read reports before about different metals placed in water treated with some chemical, did produce hydrogen.

This case could be some other kind of "electrolyze" wich very well could for example add some kind of carbone combination, (from the metal and/or the air) wich again would count for the emission. Some kind of reaction is going on in "the box" thats for shure !

IIRC... there is a compound that I believe is made from coal that will mix with water and cause the water to be flamable. It will power an internal compustion engine. I think the powder is a green color. It is do-able but not viable. In other words it works but not good enough to be of any use.

You only need enough heat released to boil the water and you have an internal compustion steam engine.

Years ago some engines ran on coal dust.

Calcium carbide forms acetylene when mixed with water. In the old days they used an acetylene generator which dripped water on calcium carbide to supply acetylene for welding and cutting torches. An engine could run on this and would put out hydrocarbon emissions. Acetylene will not travel well through a solid metal plug. Hydrogen will travel through solid metal if you heat the metal and particularly the right metal such as palladium. Palladium can be used as a valve for hydrogen. Palladium can absorb up to 900 times its volume of hydrogen.
