Any Industrial Chemists Out There ?

Post by Fletcher »

This is an unusual request for this forum.

Are there any Industrial Chemists amongst us willing to give me a bit of advice ?

If you perhaps have any experience in recipes & making commercial detergents [particularly truck or car wash detergents] that would also be very appreciated.

Dissolve 3 tablespoons caustic potash flakes in 1 cup water. In a slow stream, stir this into 2 cusp corn oil, and add a little more water if necessary to obtain a liquid consistency. Use about two tablespoons in a bucket of water. (Caution: Handle the caustic potash with care. It can cause burns.)
