This forum thread is for numerous posts on the research findings / evidence that I (Preston Stroud) have uncovered on the Mann Gravity Prime Mover, invented in 1997.
I will create two more threads, one for sharing test results and another for general dicussion
I have been been reseaching evidence, purchasing information, building test models and having parts custom made since July 2008. The inventor's website went down in December after his 1 year domain name was not renewed.
In 2005, two patent applictions were filed on the Mann Gravity Prime Mover. Starting in 2006, India's Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), Sector 33, Chandigarh began running tests on this gravity device. Many variations were built and their designs & results were published. For example, some ran faster, some had more power, etc.

MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER

MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER is a gravity perpetual Motion Machine. It moves only with the gravitational pull of the earth. MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER is a fuel - less prime mover for limitless power generation and other useful purposes. It moves automatically due to gravitational pull of earth. In it the required weight(s) is made to move automatically horizontally in circular motion at the same height from ground level - A NEW THEORY - for 24 hours a day. In it a shaft inclined downward / upward (4-inches per foot approximately) is made to move with weight(s) fitted on levers (s) with the help of a wheel running on a circular runway and the same is used to do mechanical work for power generation and other useful purposes such as pumping of water, running of small machines in industry. At its centre there is a stepped hole in which a ball bearing is made to move in a cup/cover of a taper ball bearing. It enables the movement of main shaft in downward / upward inclination. At the centre a supporting shaft vertical to the main - shaft is provided and a ball bearing at its other end moves in a pulley type ring at suitable depth/ height as per need. It controls the movement of weight (s) and keeps it at the same height from ground level. The supporting shaft is further connected to the pulley fitted at the top of the stand of this prime mover for power generation and to do other necessary work mechanically such as pumping of water, running of machines in industry. With the movement of this Gravity Prime Mover the pulley moves - it further drives a small pulley of gear box and the gear box increases the speed of its couplin. A small generator is directly connected to this couplin for power generation. A large generator is kept by the side of the prime mover and power is generated with the help of helical gear and vertical and horizontal shafts etc. In MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER - hydraulic brake is provided to stop it as and when required and a stand may be placed under the weight (s) at that time. With the removal of stand and releasing of hydraulic brake - Gravity prime mover again starts moving at the same speed. The wheel of small MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER may be made to move on a circular steel plate - wide enough for its movement. o are that a Plan Ball-Bearing has been made to move in the Taper Cap of a Taper Ball-Bearing to enable the main shaft of MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER move in inclined position towards its centre.
o Secondly the supporting shaft provided at the centre has a Ball-Bearing at its top which moves on the outer surface of taper ring fixed at suitable height.

Here, the MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER - 5HP installed at the office premises of PEDA Chandigarh 50 Kg weight(s) is to move at 50 R.P.M. at a radius of 1.5 meters (say 5 feet) and as such it is MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER - 5HP.

Some civil works including increase in height of runway for its wheel to three feet, remain yet to be completed by PEDA, Chandigarh. However:
o the height of runway-A 1.5 feet wide, 0.3 inch thick M.S. Sheet with 12 feet diameter at its centre

o to get about two inches per foot up ward inclination of Main shaft of
The movement of wheel on the runway is quite satisfactory. It being a heavy duty prime mover:
o the ball bearing of supporting shaft has been made to run at inner surface of ring provided at suitable height as a safety measure.
o In the case of reverse shaft the ball bearing can be made to run at inner surface of ring provided at suitable depth.

An agreement for MOU relating to this invention of mine MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER has been signed with Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA), Chandigarh. Keeping in view some aspects of getting it patented. It is considered to be too early. However the period of Bank Guarantee of advance paid to me has been extended from time to time with mutual understanding of both (PEDA) Chandigarh and myself on the same terms and conditions of Agreement for MOU.
Now having completed the necessary civil works (PEDA) Chandigarh wants me to give demonstration of MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER-5HP. This Gravity Prime Mover is already installed at the premises of (PEDA) Chandigarh. Its demonstration will soon be given for earlier commissioning.

The Gravity Prime Movers mentioned in page given on 20-3-2007 can also be made having suitable upward inclination of main shaft and the additional attachments used in them adjusted accordingly.
In MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER with upward inclination of main shaft of which the sketch is given above the height of run way for its wheel is increased and the height of its base is decreased. The main shaft is made to move at 45o approximately. The run way of suitable height with inward taper at the top can also be constructed for this Gravity Prime Mover.
Such a MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER-5HP with constructed run way has been installed at the premises of Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) Chandigarh. The movement of both wheel at extreme end of main shaft and the movement of ball bearing on the 'L' shaped additional attachment provided at the top of the supporting shaft is in the same direction. Therefore the speed of MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER-5HP is considerably increased to do mechanical work for power generation and other useful purposes. Its demonstration will soon be given for its earlier commissioning.

Due to these inclinations of main shaft and supporting shaft MANN GRAVITY PRIME MOVER - moves at considerably high speed. The circumference at which the weight(s) move is automatically increased.
