fictious letter of Bessler to Ann-Lise

Post by path_finder »

Just for the fun!...
Johann Bessler's letter to Anise, writing of the Turks, the operation of the Wheel, and of the matter of Automata and Simulacra.

Authenticity?
The presence of a photograph inside a XVIIIth century letter, even in black/white, seems to be strange...
I cannot imagine why nobody though on this before, including myself? It is so simple!...

Great, just what we need - more fictitious writing about Bessler.

How very odd! Typed too, and to a country which did not exist then. I wonder what was the point of it?

A comic book writer. Lacking originality I guess he uses whatever, in this case Bessler, as grist for his mill.

Edit: having read the rest of the material on his site I now see he makes it apparent the Bessler letter is written by an imposter to the comics main character. Unless he's about to bring in time travel later on.

If there is any truth to this, it had to be a descendant. One of those stamps has an airplane on it!
