The premature analysis done earlier, to the effect that the Mylow Motor was operated by various heaped-up complexities of mechanism, does appear to have been a miss, rather than a hit.
(The Ovyyus BS detector was 'on', and working perfectly, as-expected.)
When you want to detect a mechanical fraud, call in A MAGICIAN!
(Ask The Amazing Randi!)
Black threads stretched across the stages, have been the marvelous moti of many a GREAT EFFECT done, and so-too it was, apparently, in the case of the "motor" of Mylow's.
As this saga has seemingly turned out, the simplest explanation was the best one all along, although the color of the alleged "cheat" this time was clear, rather than the more traditional black.

All along, I thought this gentleman to be the ideal reporter, letting the interested know every detail, as it happened, and maintaining all-the-while a dispassionate distance but one clearly supportive, and now he deals with the sad, apparent end rather more eloquently than not.
'Twas a good job well-done, from this viewer's perspective.
I suppose it might be yet premature to place this particular "drama" into FRAUD, but that time would seem to be drawing near?
