Thread title at top of page

To Administrator:

When I am reading a thread, the title of the thread is at the top of each page.

Next to "Post Reply" button at the top of the page, there is a link to Forum Index -> General Discussion

As I go through the thread and scroll down, I come to the bottom of the page

and at the bottom of the page, next to the "Post Reply" button, there is also a link to Forum Index -> General Discussion

I usually click on the General Discussion link to get back to the threads, but being the senile, old fart that I am, I usually can't remember the title of the thread I was reading.

Would anyone else find it useful if the thread title was also at the bottom of the page, or would that just look stupid?

Oh, wait, never mind. I just found that if I press the "home" key, it takes me back to the top of the page where I can read the thread title before I go back to general discussion.

I know what you are saying.

When I log in I use "There are 45 new posts since your last visit" line on the main page and I click on the number (in this case 45) which gives me a list of the latest posts. Then you can simply go back a page or so (even after posting) and the list is still there.

Only by refreshing the page of latest posts list do you 'lose' the ones you were looking at.

That is a good idea Wubbly and I'd like to help when I have time. In the meantime the topic title is always in the title bar of your browser window, so you can read it there even if you have scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the page.
