Using the Quote button.
Could someone help me out with the quote button?
I usually go to the post I am quoting from, highlight and copy,
then go to my post and press the Quote button
then paste
then press the quote button again to close the quote.
When I am quoting, how do I get it to automatically say "xyz said:"

re: Using the Quote button.
Never mind, I figured it out. I have to type "=persons name" in the first quote tag.Wubbly wrote:Could someone help me out with the quote button?
Is this the only way to do it?
re: Using the Quote button.
You got it.

re: Using the Quote button.
Thats because Broli hacked in and stole your mail from Circle.
;)
;)
re: Using the Quote button.
Interesting thought, but circle did not contact me via this forum!
True, he did contact me against broli's advice not to.
Not hearing back from him when he was informed that I require real surname, general location, age, and occupation must of scared him off.
So I assume I can speak freely of the event without any breach of confidentiality.

re: Using the Quote button.
Can you show me the design he didn't send you?
re: Using the Quote button.
Yes! I will ship it to you via UPS air freight priority COD; I will pack it between two 12" x 12" x3/4" slate tile. I may have to add a couple of tile just for assurance so it does not get freight damaged.
What the heck! I will even throw in a couple of my vacuum packed post holes for you to sample. Being of negative value to that which surrounds them should lighten freight charges. LOL
Now that, that is said and done, I am still curious as to why I received notification of a letter that if exists it is not here.
Damn, I just received notification of another private letter and this is not a joke.

re: Using the Quote button.
Ralph , I just sent you a PM to test your red flag.
Maybe the red light bulb is out. ;)

re: Using the Quote button.
Sorry Ralph. LMAO! That was me. I had sent you a note and then I edited it (had to delete and resend for some reason) then I just deleted it altogether. This is why you got two notices and no actual PM's. So no conspiracy! Michael has done this to me several times. LOL.
re: Using the Quote button.
Thanks Ed
Probably like me, you first say what you think and then think about what you said.
I like the quote:
'It is human nature to think sensibly and act foolishly'
If it was not for a 'delete' button, I would be in deeper doo-doo more often than I am. :-)
Michael doe not delete what he sends me, I respond in kind! LOL

re: Using the Quote button.
It wasn't a criticism or anything like that. It was only a question about something and then it got answered, which is why I think I deleted it.

Ed,
Next time don't hesitate hitting the 'Send' button! You may get a better descriptive answer plus additional opinionated input.
You never know when you might open a whole new train of thought! :-)
