Since a couple of weeks I was suspecting the new Firefox version to be now a servant of Google (facilitating the trafic of the cookies from Google and In addition the trafic continues even if the last window of Firefox is closed, what is not the case with Galeon per example).
On the other hand I was refusing absolutely to use Chrome the new browser of Google, suspecting another manipulation. I was right, Google showed it's true face with the story of Buzz (all gmail clients have been abused).
So far I was researching a very simple Web browser, with some honest skills and almost ignoring the Google background trafic.
I found it: it is Midori.
I use it successfully since few weeks. It's management of the cookies is very efficient.
This browser is available on Windows, Mac-OSX, Linux and BSD.
The download page is here:

Try it, you will be surprised...
