Our Theme Song
With all the profound thoughts being discussed here I thought it was time for a break.
While watching the closing ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics
I heard a song that I realized would be the perfect theme song for our group.
It was "Long May You Run" by Canadian Neal Young.
Here is a link to hear him sing it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nszR0tfp4Es
Some of the lyrics:
We’ve been through
Some things together
We found things to do
In Stormy weather
Long may you run
I looked on iTunes for other song candidates:
Full Circle
The Circle Of Life
The Turning
Turning Point
Let It Rotate
Revolve
Round, Round, Round
Round and Round
You Spin Me Around
Make It Spin
Turn! Turn! Turn! (my second choice)
Turn The Beat Around (8 impacts heard every turn)
If I should discover the secret, among other things I have promised on here,
I will pay airfare and lodging for all of us on the forum to meet for a celebration.
It would be nice to have our theme song playing in the banquet hall when we arrived.
Where would you all like to meet? How does Walt Disney World sound?
I vote for “Long May You Run because of the soft melody and inspired lyrics.
Let’s hear your suggestions for our theme song :-)

I think that the following would make an excellant theme tune for all of us:
'Always look on the bright side of life'. by Eric Idle :-)

You can't get better than this :)
It does a complete circle, and could go on for ever, the circle whilst complete contains many unexpected and unpredictable (unless you know it already) variations.
Bach Prelude in C Major http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0egJr6nvCQI (Glenn Gould, not really suited to his style...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xep0vvhCiXw&feature=fvst guitar, homebrew but pretty nice

re: Our Theme Song
The Eagles tune "Take it Easy" has the appropriate lyrical line in it- "Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy" ;) This came to me for Einsteins equation E=mc2....Everything is Music at the speed of the Light Within (Let Go and Let Godspeed)?!

This particular video does NOT have any music.
It is a technical review of the Turbo Encabulator.
I am posting a link to it now,
because the kind of people reading this particular thread
are the one most in need of seeing this.

re: Our Theme Song
This is a video "performance" done before a live audience.
Surprised me with the amount of emotional drama from
such a simple subject matter.

Funny is that 'encabulate' or 'encabulator' are not words in English, but in Portuguese.
They have also Brazilian slang meaning.
Has to be a mystery, thoughtfulness, worries and so on, but connected to jokes, cheat and trick.
I couldn't reach to the verbal meaning of msg.
Best!
