Looking 3D physics simulation software like Phun..

Post by ribby55 »

I have tried Golems. Which is not bad. Phun is user friendly. Has anyone tried Google Sketch up? I am looking for some good user friendly software to experiment with. Once I perfect my Sim building the real thing will follow. I find it time consuming when I try to build from scratch trying to shape this and that. I want to be able to make a working model and then have it build by myself or a team. I took yesterday off to put my time into one of my ideas and after most of the day I made a two spoke test. The results were as I thought. One end was down and the other was up. It was not horizontal but at a 45 degree angle. I need to make it with at least 6 spokes in order to have the proper weight transference. Not easy to build when you have limited time.

BTW: one of Bessler's clues was not documented but in the drawings themselves....

I have a 2D Sim going already. I am trying to simplify and perfect it. I try to look at all angles. Once I tweak it to the point that I am satisfied then I will built it. Things are definitely in the works. A runner is coming soon I can feel it my bones...

Totally agree, I also feel a runner is coming soon; but how soon would you say it will come?
Within a year?
