24 letter alphabet and not 26!
I must apologise to Stewart for maintaining my conviction that Bessler used the 26 letter alphabet. I found a simple piece of code that had escaped my attention but which was probably clear to many here, which appears to confirm that he is right and I am wrong. The logo, to be found in 'Das Tri... ', which carries a crown and the initials D.M.M.P.M, which one could assume stood for Doctor of Medicine, Mathematics and Perpetual Motion, or anything else that takes your fancy, clearly breaks down alphanumerically into:-
D = 4, M = 12, and P = 15. So 4 + 12 +12 + 15 + 12 = 55
It only works with the 24 letter alphabet!
I have therefore made a number of alterations to
www.theorffyreuscode.com to accommodate my change of thinking.
I've also removed my speculations regarding the Weissenstein wheel and added the bit about the logo.
Sorry Stewart.

Do you mean 55 like... 53, 54, "55" -or- "5 and 5" -or- that it could be 'either'?
And since I've got you on the line, you've stated (implied?) more than once that such clues are (to use your own words as an example) "further confirmation of the importance Bessler attributed to the number" (55 or 5).
Did Bessler put it in writing somewhere, either as a statement or an allusion, or is the 'attribution' a result of supposition based on the recurrence of the numbers showing up in clues?
Nothing personal is meant by this question, John, I'm just curious as to what you mean.
re: 24 letter alphabet and not 26!
Or 5 x 5 = 25 or 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 - perhaps 5, 25, 55 & 125 contain elements of the answer ?

Yes, JC the 24 letter alphabet is without a doubt what he used and I am glad somebody brought that 55 into the main forum.

John seems to have a "thing" with 5.
It kinda reminds me of the following link...

Yes Mark. I mean that Bessler seemed to have a thing about the number '5', '5 and 5' and '55'.
Bill Mothershead thinks this applies applies to me too, but I'm only reporting my findings and they are there for anyone to see, Bill. You might say that it just my paranoia, as seemed to be suggested in the film trailer, (looks interesting!) but I still think that the evidence is clear enough, but I have to admit that I don't know why he left all these clues concerning the number 5, but I hope that I shall discover the answer one day.
Thanks for the link to your earlier post daxwc, I had forgotten it.

Hi All,
one is the number as it divides into all other numbers and the MT drawing start with MT 1, Bessler only showed one wheel at a time, he only showed one weight LOL, I mean no disrespect here but come on guys, you are looking for clues when you should be looking for working wheels thats what the MT drawing are there for, so you can find a working wheel and then credit Bessler with it, thats there purpose.
The time lost looking for clues should have been spent building as that is where the answers are.
Your Respectfully Trevor

Hey Murdock, what about the time lost identifying Captain Cab or the Range Rider embedded in MT? Stop with the jibber jabber, man!

Trevor:
You and other’s of the same opinion, just keep making those nonworking wheels and some of us will follow clues that lead nowhere.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion, even JC. Do we have to hear from everybody that doesn’t agree with his opinion or work? Mr. Whatford, nobody asked you to agree. Just stick to whatever it is you think you’re doing best; some opinions are better left to yourself unless you can add something constructive to the argument.
tks

Hi All,
The only clue you need, taken from Bill’s site, http://www.orffyre.com/mt.html
No illustration by itself contains a description of the motion; however, taking various illustration together and combining them with a discerning mind, it will indeed be possible to look for a movement and finally to find one in them.
This should of been part of the last post but would not cut and paste from bill's site, so I had to write and then type it.
Regards Trevor

Sort of shows you what a waste of time looking for clues are, when you should be looking for builds, if you are going to find the answer then a open mind is a start and not to be blind to the possibility.Ed wrote:Hey Murdock, what about the time lost identifying Captain Cab or the Range Rider embedded in MT? There are clues and then there are clouds.
